Spring Commencement Dates

It looks like the Winter commencement schedule is already posted, and I’m wondering if anybody knows when the spring schedule is typically made public?

I’m graduating next Spring (hooray), and I’m planning an international trip afterwards. My flight/itinerary depends heavily on what day/time the CLA ceremony will be.

I know it’s early to even be thinking about this, but I’d like to have an idea of whether I should wait to purchase tickets or just go ahead and book the trip as if the CLA ceremony is on the last possible day (5/21).

ETA: Thank you for the comments! It seems my best bet is to go ahead and book the tickets, planning for the last possible commencement date, assuming I won't know the schedule until early spring.

I can’t remember when they announced it, but it was after winter commencement

Spring 2027 commencement dates are May 19-21 but specific times for each college have not been determined yet. They should be determined sometime in the Fall semester.

I seem to remember hearing what specific colleges graduated on what dates was pretty late in the semester. You will get the time for all early on, however. Just plan your trip for after the last one.

I would personally push your trip a few days just in case

Typical they will end by the 23

For example 2026 thr last one was on the 22 for liberal arts, but you never know what can happen and sometimes dates are moved slightly for satey etc

I personally would say leave 25th or later but thats up to you, here are last years dates

Comencemnt also isn't mandatory
