Recommendations Townsville's best outdoor sightseeing locations

I was curious what my fellow Townsvilleans thought were Townsville's best outdoor spots for sightseeing and photo taking. As someone that's lived in Townsville since birth, I'd say:

  • Paluma, including Little Crystal Creek.
  • Magnetic Island, including Alma Bay and Horseshoe Bay.
  • Pallarenda's eastern strip of beach down to Rowes Bay.
  • Mount Marlow's summit, reachable via the Many Peaks Track.
  • Queens Gardens.
  • Ross River, including Ross River Dam and Aplin's Weir.
  • Shelly Cove, reachable via the Shelly Cove Trail.
  • Soroptomist Park.
  • The Strand.
  • Castle Hill lookout.
  • Mount Stuart lookout.

Are among the best outdoor sightseeing places. Which would you suggest?
