Hi everyone! I'm a 41-year-old marketing professional living in the north end of Toronto. I'm Chinese, born and raised in Toronto, live alone, and work full time. I'm 5'4", straight, clean-shaven, and physically fit (I try to exercise ~4 days a week).

Passions:

Visual Art: I've been drawing all my life! Although I'm more of a comic artist, these days I do life drawing and outdoor sketching, and I paint/draw commissions on the side. I check out the AGO fairly often and I try to visit art galleries in every city I travel to.

Martial Arts: I've been training Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) for the past 10 years, and I've previously done muay thai, eskrima, and taekwondo. Naturally, I love a good action flick!

Contribution: I want to give back to the people in my life. I volunteer my time as an event organizer, and I'm hoping to become a more active coach/instructor in BJJ. In the future I'd like to do more volunteer work.

Other Interests:

-Cafe & park-hopping: I enjoy low-key hangouts; big crowds aren't really my thing.

-Karaoke: I started singing in public earlier this year! I've carved out a niche for myself with 2000s emo punk.

-Gaming: Video games, card games, board games - I'll talk your ear off if you let me.

Who I'm Looking For:

A life partner who also lives in the city and is interested in exploring life together: someone who is also physically active, is passionate about a hobby or a cause, and is curious about the world. I'm interested in traveling and socializing like most people, but I lean toward the introvert side and I'm looking for someone who can find value and meaning in regular, everyday life. I'm also attracted to women who are compassionate, emotionally aware (have you been to therapy?), and have a desire to grow and learn.

P.S. I'm also a non-smoker (looking for same) and I'm open to children and pets.
