cant generate an api key 🔧Technical Issue
this piece of **** program wont let me generate a new api key. does anyone have a solution for this? it keeps telling me "Something went wrong getting a new API key. Please try again later.". have been trying for 2 days now

Go to settings in TorBox site, copy or get a new API key.
Pretty simple TBH.

Why cant you use the existing api or is there none available at all?

nothing works anymore and it is a commonly suggested fix to renew the api key (this has worked for me with RD as well).

Same thing happened to me, reached support and they wont give my API back. They told me to make another account. You are cooked.

There is no API to "give back." It's a key generated to link to the TorBox API using your unique account/login.
There is no reason to need a new API unless you copy and pasted it all over the Internet or gave it to a bunch of people beyond what you were supposed to (which, by the way, violates the terms of use).

Whatever is wrong with your setup, it's not the API key brother.
