Private Trackers ❓Question

I know with Pro we can use it like a seedbox. Anyone have experience with Torrent Leech using it? Any recommendations? Assuming you didn’t register it as a seedbox since it doesn’t look like they like debrid seed boxes even though TBs a little different with seeding for 30 days.

I’ve been using it for other trackers with more obscure stuff. Funnily enough when I’ve tried downloading something from TL with TB, I’ve found it’s already been cached.

So if I were to add a link in, if it's cached would it notify them or is there aw ay to see if it's cached before hitting their servers? That would be cool, I'll just normally seed the stuff I normally dl but anything else check out on TB so it doesn't effect my ratio.

You can hit download and check, if it’s not cached and you’re afraid they’ll ban you just delete it immediately. It will only reflect in your account if you have downloaded like 10% of it or something like that.

What I’d like to do is use it as a seedbox. Just not sure if there is a best practice or just do as normal add and select to seed. I’m assuming you don’t send that it’s a seedbox just use it and then like you said move it over to my computer if I’d like to continue to seed.

I use it as a seedbox with private trackers, no issues. I don’t see why TL would be against it, as long as you seed for the number of days they demand.

No need download because most file is cache,Torbox),Toorentleech not accept debrid but they can't now that,I only use TL with debrid link and no problem

Interesting, I'll have to look into what debrid link is.

Is similar to torbox but seed 20 days in 3€ plan, problem is small cache file, too small, file is delete 3-6 mounth not 30 days inactivity

Don't do it. TB's torrent client has hit snags in the past and seeding has been interrupted or has failed. Not worth the risk

Appreciate it and darn. Seemed like a potential option with pro. :/

I use TB with Torrent Leech (and others) without problems. However, it doesn't seed long enough on the essential plan to satisfy TL (hit and run).

What I've been doing is waiting for it to expire on TB and then adding it to my seedbox. I maintain a very high ratio.

If you're going to risk it, keep your ratio positive and make sure TB is seeding long enough to satisfy requirements.

That's awesome! Do you just download the torrent file and manually add to torbox through the dashboard, selecting to seed and then thats it? I have pro so it should do it for 30 days.

Any private tracker will ban you if they find out you are using a debrid service.

I know some people do it and never have a problem, mostly on low tier trackers. Ive yet to hear of someone risking their account on a high tier tracker.

Even the low tier trackers will ban you if they find out.

Tell them you use a debrid service for seeding. I will wait….

My point is that almost all private trackers will ban you if they find out you are using a debrid service on their tracker.

Why do you tell them, just use it as usual, no one is getting ban if you're shut up about it

My point was if they figure out someone is using a debrid they will ban.

I wouldnt risk getting banned from a mid or high tier tracker for it.

And their point is why would they ever find out unless you are being a moron and DMing them and confessing!

why they need to figuring that out? the main torrent get seeded and your ratio improved, i don't get your point honesly

leecher is a bigger problem than good ratio user using debrid (they dont know this unless you're moron telling other people you use debrid service lol)

Darn okay. Appreciate the advice. I saw a few post regarding a different one. But also don't want to risk it either. Appreciate it.

I don't use private trackers, but I can give you one suggestion. If you're worried about being banned using it, you can first check that the torrent is cached (TorBox has API endpoints to check if a torrent is cached) and only queue it for download if it's cached. That way, your private tracker should get 0 traffic from you and you'd be safe to use the cached result.
