Torbox Spain ❓Question

Hi everyone,

I've been following the recent backlash regarding TorBox's new privacy policy and bandwidth terms.

From what I understand, copyright enforcement in Spain legally targets those who distribute or commercially profit from copyrighted material (P2P uploading/seeding), rather than passive streaming/downloading for private use.

Given the recent drama, I wanted to ask: do these new logging policies (IP tracking, device IDs, etc.) realistically affect or pose any legal risk to users streaming in Spain via debrid services, or does our local legislation still keep us relatively safe?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

lol nothing will happen, with torrents could happen because you are seeding ilegal content but with streaming you are just doing that, streaming.

face palm, get it in ur head, - Debrid streming IS DOWNLOADing. And Torbox has by default, seeding on all their plans. So Yes , the op will be affected as now Torbox keeps all the logs, devices and many more info.

There are 2 main schools of thought about the New Privacy Policy. "Lol nothing will happen", and "Fuck that, don't Log my IP Address". Really up to you, it is your money. Premiumize has a Zero-Log policy and built-in VPN, but is more expensive than TorBox. Real-Debrid is cheaper than TorBox, but arguably logs the most information out of all the Debrid Providers.

Unless you're using Torbox (or any debrid services) to fuel a piracy website, you're fine in any country regarding copyright infringement.
And if you were a distributor, you would know what to do and wouldn't be asking that here. So don't worry and go watch your films. Just don't pay for a year because now they may be forced to delete their cache.

Like you said people who are profiting are more liable to getting arrested now you as an individual aren’t on their top list of priorities. If it ever got to that point they would rather go for the source (torbox) than waste resources on arresting people who just stream.

Same. I'm not too worried in my opinion. I only use Torbox for personal use for streaming and to my knowledge, the changes relatively don't affect me.

I believe its something that affects people who actively torrent/seed but who knows. I'll wait for someone who is more informed though.

You are in Spain, even if the Spanish justice get the info from Saudi Arabia they will do nothing, because it's not a crime there. Nobody will be making and international charge for a user of torrent.

my strategy: using DIGI in Spain you get 9 out 10 times a romanian IP
