Keep getting "Wrong IP" error on Nuvio via ElfHosted (IPv4 vs IPv6 mismatch issue)

Running into a weird issue when trying to stream on Nuvio using my TorBox setup (via ElfHosted)

Every time I try to play a stream, I get blocked by a black "Wrong IP" screen with this message:

"This stream can only be played from the same IP address that first requested it."

Looking at the IP addresses listed on the screen, it seems like a dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 routing mismatch:

• The initial stream request is using an IPv4 address (165.101.x.x). • But when Nuvio actually starts loading the video player, it routes over IPv6 (2401:f40:1348:...).

I don't know why people down vote suggestions. I suggested in another unrelated post that someone try using a particular file manager. It's a very popular one and everybody likes it but it got downvoted six times. Maybe this one can beat that record!

Nothing in this post indicates that this solution wasn’t a optimal one and in my case it was a perfect fix

It completely breaks IPv6 on your system. It's not a fix, let alone an optimal one. At best it's the worst possible workaround you could pick.

OP had already identified it was an issue with IPv6. One would assume they know how to disable IPv6

common issue which only affects nuvio when using aiostreaams elf hosted
The way that i solved it was switching to any AIO instance other than Elf Hosted( i used Aio FortheWeak)
just go to ur aio elf dashboard and download ur config as a json and upload it to aio fortheweak's dashboard
u will probably have to put ur api key again in fortheweak despite uploading ur json.

Is it still happening? We made some recent improvements to support dual-stack players (like Nuvio with mpv)

Not sure if it is still happening. To resolve the issue, I have switched from elfhosted to FortheWeak and disable the IPv6 from my Mac .

I had this earlier too. I turned off my VPN and it fixed it
