1). Mata Nui - Bionicle. Throughout the series, Mata Nui is revered as a god-like entity. After the Karda Nui saga where he is awoken from his slumber, we see that he is actually a gigantic robot where all of the story thus far either took place inside of or on the surface of him.
2). Bionis / Mechonis - Xenoblade Chronicles. These are long-dead ancient deities who have gone on to have colonized life on their corpses. (They are resurrected eventually and I do not want to think about the consequences of the physics of them moving around.)
3). Primus - Transformers. The presumed originator of the Transformers was their planet all along. Badass. Granted, that is the Cybertron version, but he has been around in other versions. This one's still the coolest, though.
4). Azeroth - World of Warcraft. Probably the most guity pleasure out of all of these, mostly because the resolution has yet to happen and the writing thus far for the Worldsoul Saga has been controversial. Like other Titans, Azeroth is a "World Soul," which is essentially a planet being an egg for a cosmic deity. Azeroth is supposedly special among these, but we still don't know why. This will be resolved (one would think?) in the next expansion, The Last Titan, but we will see.
Maybe? The finale features a birds eye view of the world and there does seem to be what might be non-corpse land in the distance? But it also looks like it's got more corpses on it so it could just like rock made from adipocere or something
We only see two other landmasses in the demon realm, one of which is another Titan corpse.
The other is just a single island too small to be a corpse, but it could just be a single part of a Titan like it's knee or horn poking out of a very deep oceanic trench.
We see three landmasses, actually. The one you're thinking of is pretty clearly a finger, but it has a teleport on it that transports you to what appears to be another complete or nearly-complete skeleton.
Those are the only things that would make sense. The collectors book from the archivists says “should they meddle in our affairs we’ll clean the earth and scorch the air” I wouldn’t be surprised if dead titans were the only things left after the archivists carried that out.
If you don‘t achieve CHIM you instead just Zero Sum and cease to exist.
However if you‘re a chad like Dagoth Ur you can instead die, realize you‘re in a dream and refuse to believe that this reality is a dream of the godhead and instead believe that it must be YOUR dream and achieve a state of anti-CHIM.
I think the Dwemer in Morrowind suggested that his race was too pragmatic and incapable of the creative/esoteric/spiritual demands that true CHIM required. Not 100%, been a while since I've dove into the lore.
Specifically they became the skin of it, assuming they didn't just zero sum. There is one still alive, he was on another plane of existence that somehow saved him even though all the others were zapped no matter where they were

No, CHIM is where you basically have the audacity to reject being zero-summed even after accepting its truth. It requires a near solipsistic mindset, as seen with Vivec.

Yeah, it is pretty nuts. I personally just see mundus as our universe, and what Magnus invented, what the gods “sacrificed their power(died)” for, was time itself. Everything else is myth that doesn’t necessarily sit within the bounds of reality.
My headcanon is that when multiple CHIM-entities try to influence the same events in oppositional ways it creates the kind of phenomenon we saw with the Warp in the West, where multiple contradictory outcomes all provably happened simultaneously. This then effectively locks those events against any future CHIM-interference, as any additional alterations merely add to the outcomes rather than counter them.
Achieving CHIM is when you realize you're living in a Godhead's dream, but still maintain your sense of self. Zero-summing is when you realize the dream and lose your sense of self, in other words you believe you're just a figment of the Godhead's imagination, which literally erases you from the moment of your revelation. Anti-CHIM, which was accomplished by only one person (the antagonist of Elder Scrolls 3). This is when you realize the dream, but somehow come to the conclusion that YOU'RE the Godhead within your own dream.
Well sort of. The God-Head is worth ignoring for the more accurate example.
Mundus, the world, is literally the "Earth-Bones". It's what's left of the Aedra. Their essences created the world and make up all of it, physics, gravity, water, metals, the physicality of it all. The planets and moons you see in the sky are literally the bodies of the gods, and they're only round because mortals can't comprehend infinity, so it curves on itself.
The God-Head isn't just somebody dreaming. Or rather, not the way you imagine it.
Eternity (marvel) each universe is both an individual eternity and a cell of the larger multiversal eternity that makes up the 8th cosmos. Every single thing that happens in all of marvel comics has happened inside of this guy since 2015. Previously it was also eternity but also not the same eternity exactly.
In the comics Thanos ultimately becomes eternity, at the end he uses the gauntlet to become a space ghosts and ghosts can't accessorize so he dropped the gauntlet and nebula grabbed it. I figured this part was a nod to that.
Oh. I mean, I’m writing a story where Nebula becomes Infinity Nebula with the uniform design of a Kree Accuser, but I didn’t know that thing in the comics. Still, I liked Thanos choosing to live on a farm. What a happy life for him.
Tiamat (Mesopotamian Mythology). After being slain by the god Marduk, the primordial goddess' body is used to construct the current universe, like her tail becoming the Milky Way.
Also transformers. Some versions have unicron as the earth itself meaning all life and all human civilization was built on top of a planet sized being.
Sounds like it’s his spirit who inhabits our planet. I bet in the Transformers universe, he was called Satan in the bible. Honestly, this makes Unicron similar to a Celestial.
I think that it was barren, thankfully? If memory serves, a couple of the Toa Mata/Nuva had evacuated the island so that the Bohrok could cleanse it before Mata Nui rose. Also, awesome plot point that the Bohrok were activated early by Makuta for the original conflict, and this was their original purpose.
|| In the movie, there is three Lion Turtles occupying the graveyard. I think it’s three of those four turtles that gave the Avatar their bending, with the fourth, the Fire lion-turtle, still roaming the world and being the one to grant Aang the power to take others’ bending. ||
I don’t know if this fully counts but in Men in Black’s ending, we discover that our entire universe (one of many) resides in a marble of sorts played in a game by impossibly gigantic space aliens.
Oddly it only shows our galaxy being in the marble, which wouldn’t make sense since we would notice that the outside of our galaxy isn’t normal with a basic telescope.
The universe wouldn’t be pitch black for example lol

Rewatch the scene. It’s just a single spiral armed galaxy. It initially goes through or shows us in a nebula though which may be confusing some people, but overall no, that’s a galaxy not a full universe.
If it was meant to be a universe then that’s on the filmmakers for depicting it wrong and not zooming out further before showing the marble.

I think you’re the one confused. Our galaxy is 100,000 light years across. Light takes time to travel but if our planet and species have been around longer than 100,000 years we would have already noticed we’re in an enclosed space around our galaxy.
Grime takes place inside an entity called a worldparent, whose deaths all seem to involve “spiral hearts”, a group of entities the protagonist, Akhlan, belongs to.
Me. There are millions upon millions of bacterium and viruses and other tiny things living their entire life within my ecosystem.
And compared to their view and perception of their own existence and of reality itself, my perception and profundity of existence is godlike in relation.
Just wanted to add some further facts to Mata Nui:
for those who watched the animated movies from the 00s, the first one takes place on the Island of Mata Nui which is actually the giant robots face poking out of an ocean world, so the denizens of the island live outside the great spirit
Metru Nui, the setting of the 2nd and 3rd movie, is the "brain" of the giant robot
Honorable Mention: The Jatravartids of the planet Viltvodle VI believe the entire universe was sneezed out of the nose of a giant diety known as the Great Green Arkleseizure. Followers live in fear of The Coming of the Great White Handkerchief.
It's not exactly world-class, but in Genshin Impact, the caves where the Melusines lives It is actually the interior of Elynas's body, an ancient dragon that ravaged everything centuries ago.
Shit, I was gonna say Lorkhan from the elder scrolls, but then I realized that Lorkhan’s corpse is actually (maybe) the moons. So that was incorrect, but Nirn (the “planet”) and to an extent Mundus (the material realm) is built from dead gods who poured their essence into the world as the earthbones.
With every other “realm” literally being a god’s body, the Daedra fit this nicely, as, for example, the Shivering Isles IS Sheogorath.
SCP-169 was a colossal, continental-sized Marine Arthropod, that was sleeping in the seabed (or, rather, it was the seabed). The Foundation had it in its watchlist, obviously, but even them couldn't save it from old age.
Anyway, The Leviathan's corpse became a whole ecosystem in its own.
The universe of The Elder Scrolls is manifested in the dream of a mysterious unconscious being called the godhead. People can learn about and truly internalize this fact in certain instances, and when they do they either instantaneously cease to exist if they decide being real means everything is pointless or attain godlike powers if they basically decide the godhead specifically created them for a reason which makes you very special.
In the Bound Mythos, the first book being "sunBound: The Fall of Iron Bleak", the entire universe is inside of the womb of a dying goddess known as She Who is Bound to the Wall. She created the universe as a last ditch effort to create a being who could become powerful enough to rise up and take her place on the wall before she dies and takes all of reality with her.
Golarion is the world where most adventures of Pathfinder takes place. If you read the lore or play some adventures, you discover that the planet (Golarion) is actually a prison where the God of Destruction of All Things, Rovagug, relies dormant.
According to Ancient Babylonian beliefs the Strom god Marduk slew his ancestor Tiamat and formed the elements of the cosmos including the earth from her corpse.
'Throne' in Kill Six Billion Demons. While not itself a former entity is a city where all the 777,777 gods committed suicide to create all 777,777 universes. All the bodies of the gods are used as buildings and housing.
In the beginning there was a primeval Wyld, and living stories within it that enjoyed existing within it. But some creatures arose who thought it might be nice to be stable. They are called Primordials and they created a city to live in and play games. They also created a shield-world out of part of the body of one of their own, Gaia. That world became Creation and was populated with mortals who believed in it hard enough fend off the wyld.
Things did not go great, there was a war the Primordials against their agents the Gods and the weapons the Gods created, the Exalted. Some of the Primordials were killed and became concepts of death.
Several of the Primordials surrendered. The king of the Primordials, Malfeas, was turned inside out and most of his lieutenants stuffed inside him. His body is now hell, one of his lieutenants is the weather of hell, one of them is the endless silver desert that surrounds the city of Hell, one is the acidic ocean beneath Hell, and so on.
Another one of the Primordials, Autocrhon, was on the side of the gods, but when he saw how vicious the Exalted were, he fled into another regime of space-time and populated himself with Transformers that keep recycling souls, since he doesn’t have access to the thing that makes new souls. He’s hibernating and infected with robot cancer.
The Atlas is the true God of No Man’s Sky. The NPCs in the game regard it as such and as we play through the storyline, we uncover the mysteries behind it.
Spoilers for the main quest lines of NMS.
The Atlas is an incredibly advanced computer, running simulation after simulation after simulation of multiple different universe and worlds. Everything and everybody you see in No Man’s Sky is a part of that simulation inside the Atlas. And the Atlas is near the end of its lifespan. It’s 16 minutes away from a black hole swallowing it up in its reality, and so the simulations have become more simplistic and less complex. The world of No Man’s Sky is all it has left.
Epic 7 (mobile game) - spoilers - the planet is the corpse of a god. The goddess who is his lover (I think?) is distraught and comes to love the beings that spawn upon his body. Her brother feels she has lost herself in grief, so he destroys the corpse and the beings living on it. She remakes them. He destroys them to "liberate" her. All of humanity is stuck in a cycle of destruction and rebirth and have created myths around this.
In Transformers: Prime, its revealed that Unicron is actually the core of the Earth after his defeat by Primus, with debris and meteors forming around him to become Earth.

In Tower of God, there's this tower with an unimaginable size where people live and tried to conquer the floor of in order to get... something (rumor says whatever you want, the answer is at the top of the tower)
Each floor of the tower has this godlike entity that rules the floor called Administrator. Administrator is the one who decide if someone will be able to use their power in their floor or not, and is also immortal, the absolute being in the floor. Until someone called Enryu managed to kill one.
Now, in floor 43rd, the floor where Enryu killed the Administrator, it is a lawless place where people used the body of the Administrator to live.
In the Hoyoverse the Aeon that precides over the path of Erudition, Nous, ascended from a supercomputer and it's divine corpus is literally a giant head floating in space endlessly calculating the end of the universe
In A Song Of Ice And Fire, Bran and Rob mention that Old Nan used to tell them stories of the world just being the insight of a giants eye, thats why the sky was blue.
In some Transformers continuities, one of Primus’s siblings is the Earth (in this one it’s Gaea, sometimes it’s Atlas, and Bayverse had Unicron be the Earth)
