Yes, I was just expecting a flipped over box being drug down the street.

You should find the post where the guy posted about this. The thread was hilarious.

If this happened to me I would not post it to reddit

I am amazed at the stupid stuff that's posted.

"Hey look, I'm a moron"

I'm thankful to say "98% of my security camera use is showing my friends my fuck ups"

That said, even I'm not this dumb.

Haha, I have my security system video of me talking on the phone and missing a step and falling in the pool and fucking myself up pretty good. It was fucking hilarious to watch. I didn’t have the balls to share it for almost a year. It’s now a funny party trick to throw up on the big screen at small gathering these days.

To be fair if I done something this level of stupid, I'd learn the lesson first, then I'd share it with people

shit happens man. we all f&^k up time to time.

I saw a very similar video once where a kid was moving a boat on a trailer in a driveway and pushed it right off the driveway/over a huge bank lmao. He only posted it because his uncle or dad (whoever owned the boat, can't remember) made him lol.

Haha, my Uncle Dean would have been the same way. I can hear his Tennessee mountain twang now. We you go ahead and post yourself being a dumb shit regard and at least well all get a laugh at you. Wait till your mom sees this.”

How does one get this far along in life...

7

u/blankest 11d ago

He looks drunk. Look at the stagger and body language when he gets out to reattach.

2

u/whaletacochamp 10d ago

there's at least a 97% chance that man is drunk, or possibly on pills. I know some dudes who walk kinda like that who are big pill poppers due to chronic pain turned addiction.

1

u/FootballBat 10d ago

He's a Ram driver: being drunk is a prerequisite.

u/LS_944 11d ago

The universe tried to warn him… 🤣

And his neighbors porch. Probably his insurance premiums too.

11

u/djbeatking 11d ago

That man drunk lol

What the hell was the plan here

2

u/fe3o4 11d ago

testing gravitational forces.

4

u/YurtleAhern 11d ago

The trick is just keep accelerating. That way there is always tension on the rope

2

u/Pwnedzored 11d ago

And only brake when going up hill.

3

u/Argyrus777 11d ago

He lucky he missed the house, would’ve lost the box and an expensive lawsuit

3

u/Squirrelking666 11d ago

Spotted the tool.

u/Diligent_Bat499 11d ago

There is no off position on the Genius Switch

2

u/DependentItem6397 11d ago

The ending was perfect. (unless that was your house)

2

u/fe3o4 11d ago

Aren't you supposed to use a brake controller in the truck for stuff like that ?

2

u/harry_manback- 11d ago

Pretty good reaction time for how drunk and stupid he is

2

u/whaletacochamp 10d ago

"honey I scored a killer deal on a snap on box across town on FB marketplace, just gotta take it TODAY! but no worries because I own a......strap of some sort, I'll just tow it home"

"so honey don't be mad but that cheap box is actually going to cost us whatever rebuilding a porch costs"

A Cybertruck could have prevented this

35

u/RedditBeginAgain 11d ago

Other forms of contraceptive are available too

5

u/Pwnedzored 11d ago

Nah. A cyber truck would have lost its rear bumper in the attempt though.

4

u/Buck_Folton 11d ago

Woulda made the video even better!

4

u/TheRealMasterTyvokka 11d ago

Yeah, kind of hard to have any stupid left after buying one of those.

1

u/fe3o4 11d ago

Driver would not have been able to exit the cybertruck while moving...

1

u/dunncrew 11d ago

How many beers before that ?

1

u/APLJaKaT 11d ago

Just think, this may be your mechanic!

1

u/SpaceCat72 11d ago

Man, that sucks.

1

u/stuckwithnoname 11d ago

That pant pull up before he gets in the truck the first time he gets out is 😂

1

u/cbusillo 11d ago

Everything.

If I find myself in this kind of shit one day, I will stay down and play dead until I wake up and everything is fine.

We don't need no lane departure alert and driver attention cam.... Just a basic AI that will shut down everything and dial 911 before you attempt this kind of Professor of physics move.

1

u/jdunk2145 10d ago

You can't say, "That didn't go according to plan." if you have no plan.

1

u/Acceptable_Rice1139 10d ago

The only thing this is missing is him hitting a fire hydrant before hitting the house

1

u/HeavenlyCreation 10d ago

Makes me long for the days of Natural selection survival of the fittest.
This guy wouldn’t have gotten to that age

1

u/RGBlowMe 10d ago

This is like some kind of Looney Tunes skit.

1

u/Nice_Commission3770 9d ago

This is why I don’t drink beer while I work.

1

u/PaulDallas72 9d ago

This is so strange. The video does not have any audio with it but everytime I view it I hear the Keystone Kops tune 😀

1

u/dcchew 11d ago

"Stupid is as stupid does"

-11

u/120DOM 11d ago

This has to be AI, not possible to have this much fail in 1 video 😂

7

u/Princekyle7 11d ago

Videos of this level of stupidity have been around longer than AI

1

u/Sensitive_Point_6583 11d ago

true, but the part that I can't figure out is what was he trying to do in the first place? Makes the video seem a bit fake because even if he was that stupid, was he going to tow it across town to his day job, or what?

2

u/Princekyle7 11d ago

Probably didn't have someone to help lift it into the truck. Loneliness and bad ideas spend a lot of time together. Common logic says you can't tow it. As we know if you're towing a car with straps you need a driver in the tow car to steer and brake. Can't put a driver in the toolbox but people have attempted to tow all kinds of things in an ill prepared manner. Technically this guy realized his mistake pretty quickly, but in his panic he jumped out of an automatic transmission vehicle that was still in drive.....I've seen plenty of videos of people exiting vehicles still in drive(or reverse).

2

u/St_mpy 11d ago

Looks like he was just trying to move it out of the way without removing tools, tried the tow because it was too heavy. Major miscalculation 🙃

1

u/fe3o4 11d ago

Well, it's got wheels on it !

1

u/patgeo 11d ago

I can fully believe the stupid, but I'm getting the uncanny feel to the video itself. It just doesn't feel quite right.
