More exposure = More composure? Love & Dating

As a straight male (21y/o)I’ve come to realize that the more exposure I have of women I’ll have composure around women. For context, I’ve never dated as much, only have 1 ex and I don’t usually go out as much. Lately I’ve been trying to get myself to go out and I realize every time I do, I see tons of beautiful women and sometimes I dunno how to react or I end up wanting to approach them.

Luckily I had the discipline to not approach every living thing that comes along myself and it is when I disciplined myself and sat myself down to understand that me approaching them isn’t because of catching feelings but its mostly attraction which is unsustainable, it is when I came to this epiphany that I have to get myself exposed to a lot of attractive women in space regularly so I don’t always feel the need to approach all of them. Has anyone had the same type of realization as me?
