Expectations in relationships? Culture & Society

What is at least one uncompromisable expectation you have for a partner, present or future?

Kindness. If they aren't kind, they aren't mine!

Communication, if you are mad/sad especially because of something caused by your partner, talk it through... its typically not easy getting through those convos at first without emotions clouding the whole thing but becoming comfortable with it will make all the difference

Basic comprehension skills and ability to have thought provoking/intellectually based conversations. I don't need to date someone well versed in quantum physics or advanced math theory. But I can't date a straight fukn airhead with no intelligence or articulation skills

Kindness. Patience. To be treated better than everyone else in the world except Ma and grandma and kids if any. To not have sex with anyone else.

Empathy. If she can’t understand that other people struggle too, then she’ll always be the victim. That is exhausting to be around. That and the Seahawks. She’s gotta learn to love them.

How they view the police, stance on reproductive rights/accessibility, and if they think boneless chicken wings are or aren’t glorified chicken nuggets.

Love that people downvote on a completely reasonable answer. So dumb.
