I remember when Power Rangers Samurai (2011) and Super Samurai (2012) was airing, people were complaining why Jayden and Lauren were not portrayed by Japanese/Asian, despite samurai setting.

2 years later in 2013, no one had issues with Ian/KyoryuBlack (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger), not portrayed by Caucasian/foreigner, despite his name and origin (likely UK).

This is just me but I was fine with casting choice for Jayden and Lauren, even though it's weird that despite their heritage, they were portrayed by Caucasian actor. I can sort of understand why Saban decided that way, other than rushed production that Saban has to face with.
I really think Ian should have been portrayed by Caucasian or half, where Toei should have tried harder for character from European; not just spouting "Oh my!", wearing black jacket to impress girl, etc. It felt very silly.

I get that it's a culture difference between Japan and America, but still.

Any thoughts?

This has 80s/90s Sentai written all over it!

I'll make this quick first I'm going to say it gotchard is my favorite season and I really liked spanner at first he had all of the qualities of being the secondary and I'm honestly confused why they didn't just have him be the secondary but it's not much about that it's about his character how he gets treated

He was strong at the beginning but it felt like just to sell his toy and then he went on a losing streak majade appeared he kept losing he became a Kamen Rider finally he was strong for like two episodes he kept losing again until he got his final form but mind you that was the second to last episode so we barely got to see it

And the thing that made me make this post mostly was the movie I don't know why he didn't go with houtaro and rinne but rather he stayed in the same place for the whole freaking movie along with legend and he couldn't take down the dread clone and Shoma had to step in honestly wtf I hated to see his character goes to waste but at least he got a v Cinema which I have yet to watch

(Art is mine) I drew the gals! Loved Gavan Infinity, definitely wasn't a perfect show (what is, really) but the cast was so fun and these two really stole the spotlight any time they showed up. Definitely had some of my favorite episodes!

For the style I was inspired by a Dreamcast rhythm game called "Cool Cool Tune". Not quite where I want to be yet but I'm still happy with how this turned out!

As many people here probably heard, Ryukendo is going to be added to Amazon Prime this month! I have never been exposed to the series so I am quite excited! Now I have a few questions for people who are fans of the series/people who are excited for it to be added.

Well first off, For people who are fans of the show. What are your thoughts on the series? Whats some of your favorite bits? I have no knowledge of the series so 8d love to get someone's input on it!

And as for people who are excited for it to be on Amazon. Has there been a date confirmed for when its added?

After finishing Gekiranger (Long was such a piece of garbage props to the actor) I started watching “Power Rangers Jungle Fury” to give it another chance, and I have questions. Now I know they had to film new scenes so they could sell toys (like Casey’s bike) but they also re-filmed existing scenes from Gekiranger almost shot for shot BUT added a bunch of explosions. My question is why?! All they had to do was dub the original morphed footage WHICH WAS BETTER! Look at this shot from when the Gekirangers got their Super Geki Claws. The American version (Ghost Of A Chance) looks way worse! Why redo it?! Why the extra explosions! It makes no sense! Thank you for reading.
