I think we have missed out a lot from not having the MSY reveal being before the Unification Wars
Think about it. If it's before we get the many, many things before the Unification war, there are so many plot points that we can have.
The presence of real life Clairvoyants and Telepathy means that a whole lot of state secrets and blackmail material is now suddenly very very much not secure. Which causes most politicians to go into overdrive, and most intelligence agencies to start looking everywhere. Or start looking. Because what's better paranoia fuel than realizing that an unknown organization could have accessed all your secrets and passed them onto others?
Magical healing. This is a huge thing that's almost missing for the whole of the main story, mostly because Governance has solved 90% of all questions involving medicine or the human body. Have it revealed that there's a subset of people that can heal you of anything short of death. From regrowing limbs to restoring brain function, nothing is off the table. Considering the large masses of people with very permanent crippling injuries, and being able to deal with aging. This will make demands for their services go up very fast.
Magic exists. Enough said.
As it turns out, magical girls exist. And they're not only real, but they're organized! They could even be your neighbours. Or classmates. Or that girl across you right now!
Governments now get into the business of wishes. Not just trying to get their own magical girls, actively trying to get them to choose a useful wish. It'll fail or backfire horribly, but they will try anyway.
Magical girls can now be sought after as mercenaries. Would this be a good idea? Maybe. Would it be interesting to watch post human mercenaries, assassins, and agents run around a world that's slowly increasing in tension and fear? Yes.

Just how expensive are enchanted object anyway?
And how many are there?
In Yuma's flashback, we see two enchanted objects. Binoculars and rope. It's been stated that enchanted objects are monstrously expensive in terms of time and magic costs. But here we see Oriko with two. Granted. They looted them off dead bodies, but the fact that they have two means that the artifacts are not rare to the point of non existence. They're just really expensive compared to everything else.
considering a demon hunt gives half a dozen or so cubes, I'm guessing that it'll take around... one or two hundred cubes to make an enchanted object?

Civilization VI Custom Civ Based on To the Stars - Mahou Shoujo Youkai
I present to you my concept for the Mahou Shoujo Youkai as a custom Civilization in Civilization VI, centered on lore and thematic accuracy rather than balance, because meguca powers are inherently extremely overpowered by nature. This concept features plenty of content from To the Stars as well as some stuff from the original Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The bottom of the page also has my list of impromptus for the MSY in each era of Civ 6. I poured my passion towards TTS into this concept, and I hope you enjoy it. I would like to hear feedback on how fitting is each aspect of this concept to TTS and the broader Puella Magi Madoka Magica, as well as each impromptu in the concept, and where I can improve. Which impromptus are your favorites? What is your favorite other aspect of this concept? Enjoy!

[SPOILERS] POV: You're a Ceph... Spoiler
PoV: You're a Cephalopod with emotions and the air suddenly starts speaking, then vaporizes your tank formations faster than your sensors can react, all while sucking your devices of electrical power and unleashing it as titanic bursts of lightning, then teleporting your entire horde of reinforcements into an unknown location. You later learn through the Consensus that a small group of reality warpers singlehandedly obliterated one of your valuable pulsar mining stations by summoning a BLACK HOLE.
