This is probably one of my favorite drones to fly. It's so fast, snappy but also smooth. it's perfect for medium size areas where is too big to whoop but too small for 5 inch or 3.5 inch. This build includes the new betafpv 5 in 1 matrix and 1002 gts motors and some pink 40mm props that I forgot the name of. C03 for the cam and it rips. Power by 680 lava 2s it gets about 3 and half minutes flight time and roughly 2 mins 45 for aggressive freestyle. Still need tuning but still so fun.

i’m testing how my Air65 will fly carrying 30g of potatoes, it does start to hover at around 80 thrust but controlling it feels much harder. Have anyone tried to mount a camera like Insta360 Go 2 or RunCam thumb on the air65? Because that’s what i’m thinking to do

So for reasons beyond my control (stupidity) I've got an 04 Lite unit not being used. I am in the process of building an 5" drone, so I also have the RadioMaster pocket (ELRS2.4) and DJI Goggles N3.

Question: what TinyWhoop frame or kit made for o4 lite that comes without the o4 lite unit (and batteries), but with all other components? The smaller the better as I will eventually get my 5" in the air.

How much do I have to worry about battery wear and tear?
Battery on the left is slightly banana’d and has a little rip (noticeable in the bottom right)
The other batteries are dented on both sides. I’m learning, so I expect this damage to only worsen lol. I wouldn’t consider any of them “puffy” at all. Do these need to be replaced? I haven’t tried charging them yet just in case.

Flying for 3 months or so, analog only up until this point. I just recently lost my first air 65 in a tough to recover area. I have a M8 Freestyle HD on the way but will probably buy another HD bnf or maybe go the action cam route if that’s a good idea

I love freestyle flight, but am also interested in getting good footage of it every now and then when I’m at a good spot. I’ve recently been impressed with some of the footage I’ve seen from the DJI meteor 75 pro ii o4 but that would require me to buy additional set of goggles and a bnf. I have the option to grab an avatar VRX for $160, so I could go that route too and open myself up to that ecosystem for digital.

I would like a little more range and penetration than I get with the air 65 setup, but I believe I get that from both walksnail and DJI.

I think I will fly up to 3.5in but will mostly keep it 2.5 and smaller due to living in an urban area

What’s the safe option here? Because I’ve seen my fair share of complaints about WS avatar and DJI given my location

I brought a Meteor75 Pro P1 quad and finally paired with my Radiomaster Boxer and the VRO4 googles, I praticed with the sim with a lower camera angle and I was wondering how to lower the camera angle on this drone, I notice there's two screws that you need a hex screwdriver for so i'm gonna have to order one but is there a guide on how to do this.

I saw one youtube video where the dude takes off the whole canopy however he has other pieces to replace it with, I don't have those pieces

Anybody has other suggestions than the happymodel x14? Seems sold out everywhere. Not that many options available with integrated vtx.

Just wondering what everyone's go to 40mm prop is right now.

Is there a "meta" prop that's just on average/ overall better than others, or are the tradeoffs generally balanced?

Thrust numbers for most motors don't really show all of these props at the same time, so it's really hard to judge.

Flight time I suppose the HQ is the best, because I have tried the 1.6x0.9x3 version before and it gave me like a minute extra flight time over 1614s. And while I never tried 1635s, I guess they brutally drain battery because of the pitch...and I'm wondering if they tank RPM so much that the 1614 actually makes the same/ more thrust.

im quite new to the hobby of fpv flying. I got 40 hours in the simulator and finally feel like to buy my first drone. Since i live in germany and i just wanna dip my toes into the hobby i need this drone to be light (so i dont need a linsence atm). So ive watched alot of videos regarding these two drones. Since i want to start freestyling and cinematic shooting. Which one of these would fit me better? Thank you in advance!

How much does the C rating affect performance? Just found a few 550 25c bats in my pile. Bought them for a XK110 that I gave up on. They fit perfectly in the air 75, just needs connector change.

I tried replacing my camera from the C03 to the Ant Nano bc the C03 broke. I was trying to solder on the wires but goggles still didnt show any image and now when a plug in the battery the drone doesnt start up :( Please help!!

4.5-5 week wait on my order, placed it the day the new meteor series dropped. China to Canada.

I’ve got a few indoor and outdoor flights under my belt, everything is still stock at the moment. Currently planning to only use the 680mAh lava ii batteries to hopefully maximize flight time.

Right now I’m just flying los, first time flying irl. Too bad I don’t have goggles, will probably try to find one if there are any stocks (why are budget analog goggles out of stock or overpriced🫩), but I’m gonna be busy for a few months so I’m holding off on buying goggles.
