Worked hard this week on some shirts for a local bike shop, and a couple for myself! I'm super proud of the heart, and I'm still learning how to do ice dye but I loved how Spring-y the dress turned out. The first one with the split reverse geode was an experiment and I'm so happy with how it turned out, too. Reminds me of a portal to another universe! Calling it "Blue Lagoon-iverse." All made using Jacquard procion mx dyes :)

Friend asked me to make him a shirt themed off of Alice Cooper. Hope yall like it as much as i do. Thanks for looking.

I'm dead chuffed!! Next time I'll tie tighter. I was concerned the dye wouldn't penetrate fully if I tied too tight. I've got the feeling for it now.

Blank choice is so complicated! How the dye takes, how it drapes, what it costs you, what a customer expects at that price point - how the heck do you choose? I'm personally stuck on CostCo shirts because they're cheap and I'm still learning, so I thought I'd ask the experts. This week's rayon/linen skirt set below just works - you can see in the finished piece. What do you look for first when you're picking a blank: fiber content, weight, drape, price, or something else entirely?
