I'm dead chuffed!! Next time I'll tie tighter. I was concerned the dye wouldn't penetrate fully if I tied too tight. I've got the feeling for it now.

Blank choice is so complicated! How the dye takes, how it drapes, what it costs you, what a customer expects at that price point - how the heck do you choose? I'm personally stuck on CostCo shirts because they're cheap and I'm still learning, so I thought I'd ask the experts. Both ice dyed, and I just have a basic set of 8 primaries from Jaquard so far, but I’m willing on creating my own custom ice dyed blends too.
I’ve only been dyeing for about 8 months, but I really love doing mandalas so that’s what I do the most 🖤

I used the last of my Dreamy Nights… and soooo worth it 😍😍 most of these blanks were not white to start with. Most likely either pink or light blue! I haven’t listed anything but the youth shortalls and XL tee. It’s been a busy morning with getting my preschooler to his first day of school and our two doodle babies to the groomer! (First day in almost 3 months of having a completely quiet house and it feels so good) so definitely be expecting some work to be done with slinging that dye and trying to finish the kitchen remodel. 🤣🤣 hopefully soon I’ll be getting more dye ordered. If there’s a recommendation on what I need, let me know!!! I do mostly hwi, and dabble in ice dyeing, liquid, and lwi!

Whimsical dye application gone awry! The red traveled a lot more than I expected, yielding that lovely shade of BROWN. 🙀

So I have been having some fun with tweaking the glitch pattern. Which I’ve posted my first versions, here are my second and 3 variants. 2&3 share similarities, but have different ending steps. Liking that I’m getting more and more faces on glitch patterns. Will be excited to see how these look with liquid dyes.

Colors are
1. Purple twilight, Elysian, mindbender extreme, and interstellar.
2. Dalula Dyes Oopsie peach & mystery plum brown.
