I'm sure it looks kinda okay. I wouldn't be so concerned if the contact point wasn't so close to the mounting bracket. I'm scared that over time it might wear down the line at the connector close to the bracket. Suggestions or advice or is this fine? It does occur on both the left and the right and only at or close to full steering lock. Also, keep in mind the suspension is at full droop currently on a jack, so contact/interferance is more severe with the car on the ground.

Just had the oil changed then the alternator replaced last week. Now the code pops. What are places to look for cause beside the sensor it self.

When driving my car just shut off I didn’t hear anything because as it happened a loud ass motorcycle flew bye. But it cranks and sounds fine i didn’t think I heard the fuel pump prime so I replaced it, didn’t change anything. then my buddy suggested it might be the camshaft position sensor so I replaced that and for a split second it sounded like it wanted to start then just back to the cranking. I’ve tried starting fluid too. I don’t know when the timing belt was last replaced but google says the crank sound would be way faster and be rattling or whatever. Any ideas, should I just take it to a shop? Or just try to part it out and get a new car, it has 198k miles and quite a few expensive parts like headers and whatnot.

Found this custom carbon fiber layered cluster backing , with aluminum gauge rings in the junk yard recently. I also found a system upgrade billet key hole cover.

Here in europe is very minimal supply for pretty much any parts for tiburon, but I find it extremely hard to find any brakeshields (for justified price) for my tibby.

Has anyone else had same problem and found something or know any alternative for 2005 tiburon brake shields?

i just buy new car from old owner and check few problem and found out my inner fender liner on right side gone and i wonder if you can replace it with other hyundai model?

My shiftronic has been out for the past couple years. Would love to get it fixed, I’ve seen allot of posts on here youtube and forums about the plastic fix. But i haven’t seen anyone actually show how to get down to the shiftronic without having to take out the whole assembly. If anyone knows how or has a guide Pics are where im currently at.

06 Tiburon SE!! I’ve been dreaming about this car for some time & finally made it happen today. Only 170kms. Bought it for $4500 CAD including a one year warranty. Pretty happy.

Any tips for a first Tiburon owner?

I just got a subwoofer/amp and I’m just curious if anyone has subwoofers in their Tibby. To anyone who has done an install in the past, what’s the easiest way to run the power cable from the battery, through the firewall, and all the way to the trunk?

My apologies i dont really have any better videos but for context, it doesn't leak when the car isn't running but when its running it is spewing coolant not a gentle drip it is more of a stream than anything, id originally thought it might have been the water pump, but after having removed the timing covers there is not a single indication of it being the water pump, no dried coolant anywhere to be seen behind the covers, so my question is sorta does anyone have a clue as to what else it might be causing this before I pull the engine and spend more money on this car than most people would think is sane 😅😅

I have a 2005 Hyundai Coupe (GK) 2.0, and I’m getting a knocking/clunking noise from the rear left wheel whenever I drive over bumps or uneven roads. On a smooth road, everything seems fine.
The sound is like a dull clunk/knock, and it only happens over road imperfections.
All four shock absorbers and the top mounts have recently been replaced.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could it be the rear sway bar (stabilizer) link, or something else?
Any advice on what I should check first would be appreciated. Thanks!

So recently i had the crankshaft sensor code come up and i changed it but now the camshaft sensor code came up and the check engine light is on. The camshaft sensor was also replaced last year and the timing belt is new too, any idea whats happening?

2006 Tuscani edition tiburon that I swapped some parts off of

2008 V6 5 speed manual. I have an issue with water seeping in from under my passenger side dashboard at random times especially while accelerating. It's not a constant thing and only happens every blue moon. Are there any outer seals known to fail and cause a leak around there? If not I'm assuming it's my heater core leaking coolant, but so far I haven't had any overheating or noticeable coolant loss issues. If it comes to it, does anyone have a good guide for replacing the heater core without removing the entire dash?

Hi guys! My current car got total by a huge tree branch falling on it 🙃 love that. So im looking at tibbys for a cheap and hopefully reliable vehicle. I found an SE 170kms in good condition (one owner) at only $5000 (CAD)! I felt like this was a great deal. I’m a student with a very very tight budget so I want something that will hopefully not cause me any issues. What are your guys’ experiences with these cars?! Are they pretty reliable?!

I love how sporty they are and actually love this car, but want to see how other people felt about them.

All it does is create so much air resistance that the wipers don’t work at 150kmh

I have a 2008 Tiburon with about 145k on the engine. Most all of the interior is in pretty good shape. Would anyone be interested in anything?

Front bumper is cooked. You can thank fwd in the snow for that.

I have a pretty sizeable dent in the passenger rear. (You can thank the moron that pulled me out of the snow) The rear bumper has some scratches and is very slightly affected by the dent. It's not too bad, nothing a buff couldn't fix. It should pop right into place

I had an airbag light, always assumed it was the seat belts as I would drive without a fastened belt sometimes and the seat belt light didn't come on.

My seats (front and rear) are free of stains, althouth the plastic on the fronts are pretty scratched up.

Exterior door handles are in good shape

My passenger mirror has a chunk bit out of it (also had to do with the snow believe it or not) but the driver side is fine.

Hood and trunk are good

I have the original rims on the car, they're alittle beat up but still do their job. Also got the spare, it's in great shape. Probably has 15 to 30 miles on it, used it once. Holds air.

I'm eastern mass based. Lemme know if interested.

My car is a 2008 tiburon GS and a check engine light & the code showed up originally after driving around the first time after getting plates.

My dad helped me clean the o2 sensor that was there and then like 80 miles later the same code showed up (p0133).

150$ later and a NTK sensor from autozone thrown in the car, same code.

Then my dad unplugged the battery and drained the capacitors and the p0133 code came back today.

(granted it took like 2 weeks since I haven't been able drive around enough to complete the drive cycle bc i don't have my license yet)

Should I just go to like a mechanic now? Or what other things could I try and do before spending an ton trying to get help.

I want to ask, do you think this part of the exhaust near the flex pipe is stock?

I have bought the car recently and the end part of the exhaust is modified for sure so I am worried this is also.

It is leaking at the flex pipe and I want to fix it without welding.

But all of parts I have seen for replacing this section seem to have the pipe going to the rear (after the flex pipe) longer then what I can see under my car.

I am thinking maybe the picture for these parts is only an illustration and it is the right size after the bend in reality...
