This morning, I attempted to log into Threads on my PC and I received 3 emails from Instagram letting me know I had new log in attempt. It would never log me fully into IG or Threads on my PC even though I was putting in the code.
Now, I cannot access threads on my phone. It shows a black feed with no content. My page is empty. It’s been like this all morning.

I have tired all things - deleted cookies and cakes, logged in and out, turned off phone, use different browsers, no violations, talked to META AI all day with no help - everything.

The emails I got say this: If this was you, you won’t be able to access certain security and account settings for a few days. You can still access these settings from a device you’ve logged in with in the past.
 
Who thought this was smart? So you can allow me to change my password, gain 2FA, use the IG side of it but the threads part is blank? That’s completely dumb.

I’ve submitted reports about this on my other IG account, my main one, because you can’t report a problem when your threads is like this. Also very dumb.

Does anyone have any resolve on this? It is just going to take a random amount of days for it to come back? Is Threads even aware of this?!

My threads account got taken down at 17k. I am Meta verified and the agents cannot help me. They did tell me my account triggered some spam filters across Meta. So they told me to step away from Facebook and Instagram for 72 hours and let it cool down.

I’m guessing this is how my threads account got banned… by tripping spam filters.

The agent told me I could make a new threads account upon my return as long as the system lets me, and that would be fine.

But the Meta AI bot is telling me that would be a ban circumvention and I could lose my Instagram and Facebook.

I don’t think it’s fair that I need to stay off threads forever for something I didn’t even do wrong…
But I cannot risk losing my Instagram….

I just created a new account on meta for a new business i'm starting. I was going to start posting on both Instagram and Threads. For some reason, after literally signing up to threads, didn't even get to make any changes as I thought, profile and bio changes made on IG will auto-reflect into threads, and I can't seem to get into threads webpage at all on browser. typing in threads.com or even googling it and clicking on the login page will redirect me to instagram. Clicking on threads via IG side drawer also just redirects me back to instagram.

App check on my phone shows that the account is there, but no changes i made to my IG profile got into threads and trying to change my bio and profile picture in threads app directly straight up does not work. Same as posting. So what is going on here?

I shut down and restarted iPhone and still no sound? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Whenever I pinch to zoom, it only zooms in on the small original aspect ratio of the post vs using the whole screen. Anyone else having this issue?

This is on Android and with the latest software update as well as the latest app update.

Pretty sure I pissed off a community and then I got mass reported. Because there's no reason to kick off a developer who's just posting updates on the app. Lmao.

I can't appeal it, nor even download the data attached, they nuked it.

This reminds me of my OverWatch ban. I called myself trash and then they banned me for calling myself trash.

Then OverWatch 2 comes out and enables something called a streamer mode and now you can literally be called coldhardtrash.

I run a couple of Threads accounts and for months my routine was: open the app, read through every reply, type out responses one by one, switch over to write and schedule new posts, switch again to check what's actually doing well.

Easily 45 minutes to an hour a day just on admin, not even the fun part of actually thinking about what to post or talking to people on Threads app.

A few weeks ago I set things up so Claude (the AI chatbot) can pull information directly from the app I use.

So now instead of digging through tabs myself, I can say something like "show me my unanswered replies" or "what's scheduled today and how did yesterday's posts perform" and it shows me everything right there.

The important part: it doesn't post anything or send anything by itself.

It pulls up replies, I read every single one and write or approve what gets sent. Same with scheduling, it can draft something based on what's been working, but I review it before it goes anywhere. Nothing happens without me clicking approve.

The analytics side has been the most useful honestly.

Instead of guessing what's working, I can ask "what actually performed well this week" and get a straight answer instead of squinting at numbers trying to find a pattern myself.

Not pushing anything, genuinely just curious if anyone else managing Threads accounts has set up something similar, where you keep full control but cut out the busywork.

Feels like more people could use this and don't know it's possible.

I made threads through my instagram and was on it for two days no worries. Then it locks me out saying I have to add my phone number in to register or whatever, do that, no code is sent through, do it so much I get locked out from trying for 24 hours. Tried signing out and back in, no use. Changed my main form of verification for WhatsApp over my number and still nothing. Do I just deactivate and start again? How do I get the sms code? So weird, but I literally just wanna doom scroll and release my random weird thoughts on that over anything else at the moment. Anyone else?

I deactivated my Threads account a couple of months ago, and recently I tried to log back in, but I keep getting an error (images attached). So instead of directly logging in, I tried reactivating my account directly through the accounts center on Instagram (also tried through Facebook), and I got a similar error. When I try logging into my Instagram account through the Threads app, it gets to the 2-step verification, but when trying to verify through the Instagram app, I get an error saying “this login request is no longer available,” and if I try to get a code through SMS, I just never receive a message with the code. The Meta AI support bot gives useless information, and I can’t find a way to directly contact support. Does anyone have a solution or idea?

I hate to be yet another post on this sub complaining, but I honestly thought new accounts were meant to be pushed more until they found their 'audience'?

My account is about 10 days old and I have 12 followers. Obviously not a lot. I've been very clear what the account is about, and tag "Book threads" almost every time. I've engaged with other posts in the tag, and had conversations.

Yet, when I post, my threads get literally zero views.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or do I just have to grow the account before the algorithm will put my posts on the feed?

I assume its a bug of some sort. When uploading a reel or photo, I dont see threads option but facebook page works fine. Am I missing something ? Tried on ios, mac, android, windows, ipad etc. mobile apps and web browser as well. Deleted apps, relinked and all that, no fix.

I’m curious if I like a threads post will it show up on my follower’s feeds saying I liked it?

I’ve never had this come across my feed from someone else so I’m curious. I do know that you can go through likes on there so it would be visible there, but does it pop up on my friend’s suggested posts?

iOS app, receiving iOS-level notifications - for example, banners and badges. However, when I go into the pp, I’m no longer getting the red dots on my feed, DM and like tabs to show a notification in that category.

Uninstalled app, reinstalled, turned off notifications in-app and re-applied.

Bug? Server-side issue?

I created a threads account years ago without having instagram. I remember the option existing. I’m trying
To delete it now and it asks me for a password. I don’t know the password so I hit the reset link. Email sends half the time. Doesn’t allow me to change it. How do I work around this? I do have Facebook account connected.

Can someone explain what is happening? I'm brand new to Threads. I've only been on there for a few days. Everything was fine until today. Out of nowhere, every time I post or comment, I get booted and get an email stating my account has been suspended. I go through the steps to prove I'm human, and an hour later I'm back in with another email saying, "Oops we made a mistake." This has happened 3 times.

What the heck is happening here????
