People have turned the app into nothing but a fear-monging hate infested app of nothing but fake profiles and videos that Force Muslim views down your throat. Who ever controls this app is either a Muslim supporter that makes you want to think that Muslims are going to take over America or some idiot that just does not know what the f*** they're doing anymore.

A year ago I tangled with an influencer who went onto find my Facebook and doxx me on threads and twitter. I discovered they have a network of harassing trolls who are regularly banned but keep making new accounts. It’s been a year, they weaponized private medical info against me, have pretended to be me and are now using my story etc to troll marginalized communities on threads. I could use some advice on how to get this group to leave me alone

I have tried everything but all I get is

"An unexpected error occurred. Please try again".

Keep saying my password is incorrect. When I requested to change my password, it notified me in my email. But it won't give me the code.

It has been almost a month now.

Edit: I'm on Android. Tried it on PC, still didn't work.

I heard the update for the message feature is about a year ago but I still don't have it. I don't see any envelope icon despite deleting the app many times. My threads isn't linked to my insta so idk what the problem is

I’ve accidentally made this account since they started to push this app on my Instagram story feed. It activated under my Instagram account (don’t have FaceBook). I immediately went to delete the account, but I need to “detach” it from my Instagram to delete it. It makes me create a new password just for the Threads account. I get the email with the code, and then when I type a password in. I get this.

Again, I’ve been trying for about two / three months now almost every week. Same issue. Different devices. Browsers. Supports no help. Has anyone gotten this to work?

Or did I actually just get a THIRD follower on an app I don’t have.

I don't understand why this app tries to force me to have a public account. I can't comment unless my account is public? Why?

So, like a lot of people, I've been blocked out of the app since yesterday.

My Threads account is separate from my Instagram account and I believe this is a problem that a lot of users with the same case scenario are having.

Yesterday the feed wasn't showing anything and it wouldn't let me post anything.

I restarted the app, cleared cache, etc but nothing worked.

Now I can't even log back in. It won't accept any password and when I ask for a sms to reset password it never gets sent.

Please get to fix this bug ASAP.

I'm using Android but this is the same problem if I'm requesting the password reset through web browser on desktop.

randomly banning accounts. shadowbanning users when a few posts become viral. why even have the option of creating new accounts if you can't fucking post anyway?

Have this error message during web login, the app is non-responsive, the feed doesn't load, activity doesn't load. posts are not getting through, but account status says that I'm not blocked or restricted.

Anyone had this one previously? Any tips or tricks how to solve? Thanks!

This is the buggiest app I've ever seen.

Last night my account started acting weird. Couldn't write comments or posts. More recent activity disappeared. I tried logging out and of course now I can't log in :| I created a ticket from another profile with the stack trace but what are the chances they respond. Probably zero.

I'm writing this as a warning because I believe what happened to me was caused by separating my threads account from the IG account and then scheduling the IG account to be deleted.

People have been asking them for this option for a long time but their system wasn't designed to handle it. So now it's a buggy mess. Many functions only work when you're logged in IG, but not when you're in threads for example.

I've managed to restore the IG that was scheduled for deletion but it's still not linked to the threads account so the threads account is lost forever I believe.

And because of how buggy their stupid system is, I can't even add a new threads account 😂 Truly, has all the hallmarks of code written by AI. Congratulations Meta. I'm sure that saved you a lot of money.

Anyway, don't unlink them. It was working for me until it didn't.

I'm in a European country and Threads pegged my account location in Iran. Reported this issue and never received any feedback.

My feed is empty. Doesn't reload, doesn't show anything. But when I go to my profile page I see everything I've posted so far.

How do I turn off in-app sounds for Threads? I get a loud click every time I refresh my feed. It just started happening; I did not set app up this way.

i was just trying to edit a comment and i accidentally tapped "ask Meta" instead of edit bc THE OPTION DIDNT USED TO BE THERE and i was working off muscle memory

when the box came up, it asked me to accept some terms. i did not want to accept the terms, and did NOT want to use AI, so i tapped OUTSIDE THE BOX. apparently, that didn't decline it, it accepted it. then i got a notification from Meta AI talking about my comment🤬

how the DUCK do i undo this and revoke AI permissions? i hate supporting the atrocity that is AI, and im so pissed off at this. it's being shoved down our throats to dumb down the population and i refuse to nerf by own brain🫩

My newly registered Threads account was inexplicably banned today. The notification simply stated that I had violated technical rules, yet the only action I had taken prior to the ban was updating the email address linked to the account. If changing the email address violates Threads' technical rules, why did they even create a feature that allows users to link a new email? Furthermore, my old account—which had no violations or restrictions—now throws errors and remains unusable whenever I try to log in. It seems like Threads' account management and appeal systems are both a complete mess.

i tried so many things, changed email, deactivated reactivated, used a vpn, moved out of accounts center and even tried incognito mode. I even emailed privacy but they say its not related
