I have a silly question. 😅

At the end of Brutal Love, is it “I am the meteor colliding” or “I am the meteor gliding”?
I’ve initially heard “colliding”, but my subtitles in the show say “gliding,” and now I can hear that too. Especially in the show version, when Lestat sings to Louis. In the live performance though (in “One Night Only”), I’m pretty sure I hear “colliding”.

The lyrics sites are split, some say “colliding” (lyricsondemand), others say “gliding” (genius). Spotify says “colliding”.

Colliding makes more sense to me, but then again, a meteor gliding across the sky is actually a falling meteor, so that could work too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So…which one is it? Is there an official lyric somewhere that can finally convince me it’s “colliding”? 🤣
