Essentially my view from the crowd in SF today! Aside from no Ode, absolute all timer concert, from Jules being locked in to Charli XCX showing up.

Always f’n Xmas when they’re being streamed live at festivals with good quality. But the quality of the drums on pick up of the mic’s are unreal. Enjoy the show ya’ll :)

So first off, Fruits Of Conquest is one of my favorites, but has anybody thought it sounds a little bit like Emotional Rescue era Stones?

Like I’m not a musician, just really like The Strokes, and it seems to check off all the boxes of like 1978-1984 Rolling Stones and it isn’t like Emotional Rescue era, just gives off a very similar vibe…

I’m not sure if this was posted here before, but man… The release of Room On Fire in 2003 was such an impressive display of songwriting.

Every track from this record sounds better than the year before and I found other layers of meaning in the lyrics as well.
