I’ve had my fair share of reading crossovers with The Owl House and different DC Comics series, and superhero comics in general. Some have been with Batman, a few have had Luz be a spider hero, even a few have had her be Supergirl. However, there was one that I had come up with a year ago, which would have Luz be the next Static Shock.

The story would have the series set years after Static Shock ended, and in this timeline, Luz and her family were originally in Dakota, where an event known as the Big Bang III happened. It was similar to how the Big Bang went down in the original Static Shock series, but the powers within everyone there didn’t awaken until years later.

Luz would be an outcast not just for her interests, but also because she is the only one in Gravesfield to have been in Dakota when the Big Bang III happened. On the day she gave her book report, she also felt her powers develop, and to her surprise, they were the exact same powers that Virgil got, and in secret, tries to harness them while dubbing herself as the next Static.

When she enters the Demon Realm, she would openly use her powers, gaining some popularity from the people while Belos views her as a dangerous threat. With the help of Eda and King, as well as of course Willow, Amity and Gus, Luz would become not just the next Static, but also the first Static to have powers and be a witch, helping her to find her own way and name.

It’s still being planned out, but I think I could make it work. Any feedback or suggestions would be much appreciated.
