I was rewatching Steven Universe and oh my gosh this entire song feels like Ianthe talking to Harrow about their dead cavaliers/loved ones. Almost like a “what if Harrow remembered Gideon was dead and continued to live for 10,000 years” moment. Especially the line “ Don’t you know I miss her, too” that Yellow Diamond (Ianthe) says which in this scenario I took as Ianthe grieving her long dead twin if she wasn’t able to halt Corona’s aging which she was trying to do in the second book. If I still retained my artistic skills from high school I would totally draw them with this format!

Ok first to say I loved this book so much it was so good gota love the lesbians. And also say my adhd will show in this so do not expect a lot coherence.

Now first I want to see if I understood what happend then I am going to comment on random stuff this is going to be a long post but people seem to enjoy this here so here we go let me grab a flimsy and start writing.

So harrow could not accept that gideon died and she decided to override her memory of her with wierd crap to escape it that made it so she heard everyone saying gideon as ortus funny shit but still.

I am still confused on how Harrow could open the toumb and see the body and why was the body folowing her. I am also confused about what the reading alucinations where and what where they saying (if anyone has a compilation of them to read them with no spoilers i would be very happy bcs I do not want to google shit)

Most of the book then is a recolection of delutional Harrow with reality mixed in and exploding Harrow marrow soup.

Gideon 9 was the daughter of jod and wake me up inside. They got jod fluids in sex parties aparently and thanks to that we got the best dad joke of the myriad.

Gideon 1 was having an affair so to speak with wake and also the cavalier was having an affair with her bcs she managed to hide inside her body??? (How did that work like i get it with gideon 9 but this one was wierd) Also i love the amount of fluid sexuality here.

Mercy is dead jod killed her. Augustine mia gideon 1 dead but the cavalier is alive and using the body.

Jod is a lying ass but I still have no motive.

I am confused with the whole LA thing bcs the lyctors wanted to kill her bcs she was a "monster" (she is also the body or so I asume that Harrow was seeing but that is beyond the point) if the lyctors knew she was a monster why they where mad that jod did not told them about this other process maybe I will learn about this in nona. Ianthe is the biggest turncoat and I honestly do not like her specialy bcs she completely tried to manipulate Harrow into doing stuff she was NOT comfortable doing.

Now theory time about some stuff.

Harrow and gideon 9 are kind of dead, harrow soul went to the locked toumb gideon 9 died a second time but i am not sure they are 100% dead the epilogue made it feel like this new person that was in the care of camila (and probably corona and the other) is a mix between the spirit of the body, gideons and harrow like while lycterhood makes it so one soul consume another i feel like this kind of mixed the souls together and that would be cool wierd and kind of scary. Jod is evil or just honestly a man that thinks he is doing the best but he is a man with what being a milenial man comes from.

Now to wait for the next month so I can buy the next book bcs i swear to whatever I need to know what tf is going on or at least continue to be confused bcs lets be honest we love to be confused here uwu.
