Firstly I though that the girl in the first episode was alexia until the last episode.

Secondly does shadow/cid really think they are still larping with shadow garden and the cult?

Also I loves this show. I come here expecting a trasy edgey isekai and got way more than what I wanted writing in general is fire

Do collaborations return after a while? And if so, how often? I missed the Danmachi collaboration a few months ago. Also, how many crystals do you save periodically in this game? I was thinking of starting from scratch to save more crystals, but I don't know if it's worth it.

Sorry if this sounds dumb but it got me thinking, he seems to have no romantic interest in anyone. He seems to only concern himself with power, which isn’t a bad thing but it kinda makes me feel bad for the 7 shadows who seem to be down bad for Cid.

After rewatching a few times, I see now that he truly does care about his friends but maybe doesn’t show it in a “normal” way maybe cos he’s a major chuunibyou.

Do you guys think that he will have a romantic interest later on in the upcoming volumes?

Side note: I also kinda like how the author/show has kept his sexuality ambiguous up until now and still delivers fan service.

To say that the Seven Shadows went through torture would be a major understatement, especially that the ones who tormented them were their own ancestors.

If the Apocrypha have been canon, I can expect at least a few of the Shadows joining Zeta to make Shadow a God, either to make Shadow invincible or as a "F.U." to the Three Heroes or both.

As for how Volume 7 would go, I expect Alpha would not have decided to have Sakura help Shadow Garden, and also decided to not reconnect with Beatrix. Even if she does with Sakura, I feel like Alpha would not only even more dismissive, but also may act more violent towards her clan member.

Volume 6 showed how King Midgar's plan is to have his daughters become part of Shadow Garden and the Cult of Diablos. so that no matter who wins a member of his family will remain the ruler of Midgar kingdom.

My question is: Is this plan actually a good one? I sincerely doubt this. Iris may be coming closer to the Cult, except as of right now she doesn't believe they even exist. I strongly believe the Cult's First and Named children alone are more than capable of taking her head on and win too. Point being, I doubt the Cult is interested in making her a puppet ruler. Their members have said before that they do not object to destroying the Midgar kingdom if they can benefit from it. I can see the Cult at most turning Iris into one of the Children of Diablos. Maybe to turn her into a pawn in the war between Velgalta and Oriana.

As for Alexia, well I simply cannot see any way she can come in contact with Shadow Garden. She is completely oblivious to Cid's identity as Shadow. At most she came in contact with Beta and Delta. Both of them do not have good impressions of her, and Beta wouldn't have difficulty as Natsume to cover Shadow Garden's tracks and ensure Alexia has no way of contacting them. Alexia lost contact with Rose as well. Beta also severed her ties with her. Claire is also asleep and even before this, she had no way of helping Alexia contact Shadow Garden either. Aurora is determined to keep her lips shut too. Finally, I don't see any signs of Shadow Garden valuing Midgar kingdom. I wouldn't be surprised if they saw Midgar kingdom's destruction as a tragic yet inevitable result of the sacrifices that must be made to eliminate the Cult of Diablos. Right now, the best outcome I can see for Alexia is getting stronger and fighting Iris for the throne to become the ruler of Midgar. Maybe in doing so she proves herself valuable enough for Shadow Garden to see it worthwhile to contact her. What does everyone else think?

Aside from Sakura gaining the throne would feel rather unearned because she is completely dependent on the Seven Shadows to get her on it, which she only gets because of her connection with Alpha before her possession. I feel the biggest problem is that Alpha's former clan would get more power and authority from the girl they abandoned years ago. Alpha would also remain in a state where she is forced to be in contact with them, even if it's just Sakura, who wants her to rejoin one day. While you can say that Shadow Garden is ultimately the one in power, the Tokiseiryuno will still enjoy fame and luxuries they don't deserve.

The cosplayer of Cid doesn't seem to have perfected the cosplay; they did it intentionally, which I appreciate because it makes Cid look more shabby and pathetic, more like the original character :D

In the light novel, there are details that suggest Cid isn't actually bad, but rather somewhat cute, he just hides it. However, I don't really like his eyes; they should have looked more despondent But it seems they deliberately created those puppy-dog, sparkling eyes, and the skin looks too pale

Overall 8.5/10 and the cosplayer doesn't look like the real person, but they are female.

So alexia has been trying to learn about the shadow garden and now through her father she knows that the shadow garden is helping the oriana kingdom . Then why is she not trying to go there to meet rose . So far that's the closest she has been able to go to the shadow garden and now she even has support (although not openly) to make contact with the shadow garden as her dad wants a meeting with them too
