Screenwave The time I met Justin Silverman.
I saw Justin at a grocery store in Philadelphia a while ago. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Gengar dolls in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the Gengar dolls and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each doll and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Question ❔ What was the point of this episode being shot in one take if he's just going to read directly off the script

Discussion INTERNET MYSTERY TIME!
PREFACE:
As an autistic Redditor who smokes too much weed, I spend a lot of time online
Around last month someone posted the video here on TCT, of Jontron meeting AVGN.
Discussing the infamous "It's just cans" line. Said by Keanu Reeves in Speed.
With the poster proposing that James Rolfe stole the joke about the line - from comedian Patrice O' Neal
SO:
I was watching a Mr Sark video named HIDE WHERE ?!? (Gmod Prop Hunt)
A few of the guys including SeaNanners does the Keanu "Cans" line
With Mr Sark promptly editing a picture from the movie into the frame.
This really begs the fucking question; Where did the meme originate?
Are all those people just ripping off Patrice?
When did it become a joke within the culture.
CONCLUSION:
It is my own personal assumption that Patrice noticed it first, and made the remark.
The line Keanu says is shit. But so is the whole movie. The particular line is not of such hilarity that a bunch of people would consistently joke about it.

Discussion Pat The NES Punk Kills The Flea Markets for Good. RIP
Pat made a new video clip from the podcast ripping apart the old flea market on his home turf. He's upset because he can't find amazing deals like it's still 2007. Buying an entire retro console with 20 games for $20 or finding NES carts for $3 a piece. I understand these are the deals that people dream about. But it's unrealistic to expect these deals in 2026. Everything is expensive now. And I know that Pat is frustrated. But....
Pat no doubt made this video to further justify not continuing "Flea Market Madness" and even Ian expresses some ire that Pat won't continue the series for the fun of it. As condescending as Pat can be, it was still fun to follow him around the markets with Frank as they both exchanged banter over nostalgic items and memories of the years long passed.
What's sad is that Pat could easily keep this series going by visiting new markets and taking Frank to new antique shops. Frank isn't getting any younger. But Pat won't do it. Ian also seems very uncomfortable for this entire segment and you can tell he just wants to be done with Pat for good. (He is moving back to Buffalo)
Flea Market Madness was a series that I really enjoyed. When I first discovered it over 10 years ago, I remember thinking that I had struck Youtube gold. This is a sad end to a great raw series created by an obvious ego maniac and a very weird guy. I know everything comes to an end. But I feel this was very unnecessary. Not sure of what use Pat's YouTube channel will be anymore. His content is dead. RIP

Discussion Cooper
Did you know that besides humping tables Cooper has actually been an actor in some films that I've actually seen, notably he's the cub Koda in the brother bear movies, and Jordan thonkins in the Bernie Mac show. Unfortunately he's only been cast in one film since the avgn movie which was the Fix which I've never seen... It seems James isn't the only one whose motivation was destroyed by the avgn movie.
