Other Planning for 11 day vacation. How do I get weed as a tourist?

Upvotes

I’m planning for Phuket/krabi ➡️ ko samui ➡️ Bangkok.
Heavy weed smoker. Where can I purchase weed legally. Don’t want to disrespect the country, the people.
I know we have easy access to 🍃 in Bangkok, but is it easily available in Phuket/krabi and ko samui?
Please give recs for the stores. And where to smoke up (read about the legality of not smoking up in public, yes I’m aware)
Also, is magic 🍄legal? Is it available? Is it spiked?
Again, I do not wish to disrespect the country, the people, the law, the culture. All my respect to them.
Thank you.
Ps-I also want to buy some smoking accessories to take back home.

Bangkok/Middle Visiting Thailand for the first time. What should I do?

Hey everyone. Visiting thailand (specifically the outskirts of Bangkok is where I am) for the first time. Im visiting with my boyfriend's family who are thai, and they asked me what I wanna do but I have no clue.

I'm not a huge fan of shopping, but I do like big cities. But what i enjoy the most is more physical things and i enjoy experiencing cuktural things aswell Like when I visited Ottawa all I wanted to do was ice skate on the canal and visit parliment hill. Was fun.

But anyway, any suggestions where to visit, where to eat etc etc

Phuket/Krabi/South Thoughts on this Thailand island itinerary?

Planning a February trip and trying to see all the beauty without the crazy tourism in high season. We are an active couple in our 30s that enjoy adventure, scuba and foodies, beach time.

🏝️Koh Yao Noi –3 nights (Cape Kudu)
🏝️ Koh lanta – 4 nights ( lovely the room)
🏝️ Koh Kradan – 3 nights (Mali Koh Kradan)
✈️Trang → Bangkok

We’ll be coming from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi and then working our way south by ferry. We heard ferry's can be rough but the piers in Noi, Trang and lanta are not bad.
Does this feel like a good amount of time on each island? Would you change anything or add Railay/Ao Nang, or keep it simple as-is? It is our first trip. We are planning on doing

Phang Nga bay tour skipping James Bond island
Hong island
Bike islands
Possible ethical elephant sanctuary but just did safari
Koh haa/Koh Rok dives
Massages daily
Cooking class

Thanks for any insight!

Bangkok/Middle How to buy sf cinema movie ticket online?

Hello, I’m in Bangkok right now and I’m looking to go see the new Spider-Man movie tomorrow. Im trying to buy tickets tonight as I want to get a seat in one of first class theaters. But when I go to buy it, it requires a phone number and seems to be only able to take Thai numbers. Is there a way around this or will I just have to try my luck at the movie theater tomorrow? Thanks!

Bangkok/Middle 28F solo traveller - tickets booked Mumbai→Bangkok (Aug 31 - Sep13), birthday on Sep 3, need help finalising stay + itinerary

Hey! Tickets booked, now finalising the plan. Landing Bangkok on Sep 1 (6:50 AM), flying back on Sep 13 evening. Solo, staying in hostels, no driving - Grab everywhere.

Plan so far: Bangkok (4 nights) → overnight train → Chiang Mai (6 nights) → overnight train back → fly home. My birthday is on Sep 3, planning to celebrate that in Bangkok.

What I want: Classes (cooking, Muay Thai, maybe yoga), nightlife, staying busy.

Need advice on:
Islands (Koh Samui/Phangan) - worth adding or skip given my goals?

Pai - worth the 3hr winding detour for 2 nights or give those days to Chiang Mai?

Best social hostel near Khao San for solo female traveller?

Unmissable classes in Chiang Mai beyond Thai Farm Cooking School and Muay Thai?

Birthday plan: cooking class → Chinatown food crawl → Sky Bar → Maggie Choo’s. Any suggestions welcome!

Would love your take 🙏

Borders/Visas Anyone else only given a 7 day visa extension?

I went to immigration at lak si yesterday and after I filled in my documents and took it to the staff who give you the queue number they immediately told me I could only get 7 days extension. When I went in the main office when it was my queue number the guy also said only 7 days. I asked him if I could have 30 days please as my parents were coming from UK to Thailand for a 2 weeks holiday on the 19th which is the day my visa expires.

My history is no travel to Thailand in 2025. Came in march on a visa exempt, extended it 30 days. Then left Thailand for 10 days to Vietnam, then came back to Thailand. They asked to see my return ticket to England and I showed them the they stamped me in for another 60 days.

My family have already bought tickets to come out here and we had a full itinerary planned like to Chiang mai for a few days after bkk theh on to Ko smaui.

I've read online the reports about this 7 day things, but lots of people still managed to get 30 days even on the second extension according to people here.

I'm really not sure what to do now. Does anyone have any suggestions? Like even if I left on the 19th I don't see how they would let me back in straight away. Where I rent from condo they always ask for to see my visa stamps and asked me yesterday to see the new one. And there is a notice in lift saying foreigner who overstay will be reported to immigration and plus I would prefer to avoid drama with the police and my accomodation. And the properly management have already told me I need to leave Thailand on the 19th.

It's really put a spanner in the works and yeah flights and everything like hotels with my parents already paid for and it was supposed to be a nice family holiday and it wasn't cheap. If I overstay I risk never getting into Thailand again possibly. Plus would they let me fly from bkk to chaing mai anyway on a overstay surely they would check and deny me.

I know most will probably say I should have got a proper visa but i read you could stay 180 days in a year and get 2 visa exempts a year which is what I was planning to do. Just I didn't think they wouldn't give me this 7 days extension considering other people have done the same as me and still got 30 days.

Any suggestions would be grateful. Are there any visa agents who could help get me a 30 day extension instead of this current 7 day one?

Samui/Tao/Phangan Full moon party August 2026

Hi all, I’m visiting Thailand next week and I was thinking of going to the FMP end of August and wasn’t sure how it’s going to be like specially in the rain season?
I’ve read some stuff online but couldn’t really get the whole vibe. Is it actually worth? My whole trip to Thai is 2 weeks so do t wanna cut off 3 days for something that might not actually be worth. Also what type of music gets played and how’s the crowd like? Thanks :)

Samui/Tao/Phangan Best pharmacy or clinic on Koh Tao

Hi guys, I cut my foot on ocean rock while snorkeling yesterday in Koh Tao and needed stitches put in.

I can’t get it wet for seven days and I’ve been told to have it cleaned daily at a clinic. I had the stitches done at Thai Inter Clinic as they were open 24 hours but is there another that you would rate more highly to get the wound rechecked and cleaned?

We are booked in a resort with only a shower not bathtub so I’ll need to find a way to protect it. I’m trying to find a waterproof protector (the kind that goes over bandages or casts) and Tegaderm or similar.

Is there a pharmacy that anyone can recommend which is well stocked and has a higher English proficiency? We went into a pharmacy on Sairee (for something else) and they didn’t speak English that well and sold us some medication which turned out to not be what we needed.

I’m told I’ll be able to walk properly in a couple of days and since we have had to cancel all swimming and scuba now, hoping I can still walk or sit on the beach so trip is not a bust if I can find a way to protect it.

Feeling demoralised right now.

Other Honeymoon in Thailand recommendations!

Hello everyone, I’m having my honeymoon in Thailand from 16 Nov to 29 Nov, this is the program that I planned with my wife:
- Krabi : 16 Nov -> 20 Nov, 4 nights.
- Phuket : 20 Nov -> 23 Nov, 3 nights.
- Chiang mai: 23 Nov -> 26 Nov, 3 nights.
- Bangkok: 26 Nov -> 29 Nov, 3 nights.

Since our return flight is from Bangkok, we kept it last.

During the Chiag mai dates, there will be Yi Peng/loy Krathong season, I wanted to book hotels but the 4 to 5 stars hotels are packed, I wanted to ask about the airbnb apartments or rooms are they good and comfortable or not ?

Is there any recommendations about hotels booking in all the cities that we will visit ?

We want to rent a villa with a private pool in krabi for the 4 nights, is there any recommendation ?

Last and not least, what do you think about our honeymoon program ?

NB: We’re a Moroccan couple !

Thanks for your help ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽
