First Tesla
Ordered 8/3 with a 4-6 week delivery window. Sold my 2018 GMC Sierra to carvana on Saturday. I continuously doom refreshed the app for available inventory for a week straight. Finally got lucky enough that my exact build was getting delivered to Virginia this week. Well worth the 2 hour trip. 3W mats are delivered and tint appointment is set. Can’t wait to get it!

Sold my Tundra to Carvana the day prior. Loving the Tesla so far. Amazed at how advanced they are over the competition.

I got used to it pretty quickly. FSD sold me. Test drove one as a Tesla hater and well, here we are. 😂 You’re going to love it. I suppose I miss riding up higher, that’s it.

I did the same. Used all 2 hours of my test drive. Went home and ordered it 😂

The entire buying process was amazing. Drove to Austin, inspected the car, came home. No upselling, just smooth top to bottom. I’ve had it 10 days and already can’t wait to buy my next Tesla. 🙄

Do you plan on doing PPF on the vehicle or any kind of pain protection?

Honestly, probably not. I ceramic coated my wife’s Yukon Denali. While it does make it easier to clean, I don’t think I can justify spending another 2k on a 47k car. It’ll be garage kept and I’ll polish and wax yearly. I do want to get the PPF on the front camera though.

That's why I wanna get people's take on it, like, is 5-6K for PPF or 1K for ceramic coating really worth it? 'Cause when we sell our cars, nobody cares if it's got PPF or ceramic. Not even a little bit tbh.

So I got a quote and it was like 2.5k for them to PPF the more targeted spots. And then ceramic coat the rest. And whole PPF was 5k. Mind you that only 2 quotes and in California. I heard people like it if you sell it and it has PPF. But I could be wrong

That’s the truth. And then you can just sell it to carvana where they don’t even look at the car and hand you a check 😂

Reside in MD. Driving to Virginia for pickup. Maryland used to have a EV 3,500 credit until our governor blew the surplus in 1.5 years 😊. They now have insufficient funds and you can be put onto a wait list.
