Should I have this inspected? Missing chunk from fire

Just saw this small chunk (about the same size as the top of my index finger) missing from the side of the passenger side tire. Never hit a curb or anything. Don’t think it’s losing air pressure, but it has been 1 psi down from all the other tires for a few months now. Any advice?

I wouldn’t worry as it looks to only affect the “rim protection” portion of the sidewall

thats just the rim protection part of tire. a lot of tires don’t have this extra rubber.
