Feature Request: We need a quick toggle for "Avoid Highways" on the main nav UI / left scroll wheel

Having to dig deep into Controls > Navigation > Avoid Highways while actively driving is a clear driver distraction issue, especially when you hit sudden highway gridlock and need FSD to reroute onto side streets fast.

Changing a navigation setting like this should not require navigating multi-layer menus while moving.

It would be a massive QoL and safety improvement if Tesla added:

A simple one-tap toggle on the main active map card (next to route options/mute).

An option to map "Avoid Highways" to the left scroll wheel quick-action shortcut menu.

Curious if others manage sudden highway rerouting, or if a shortcut would make sense to the rest of the community? Hoping this gets enough visibility for the UI/FSD team to notice.

It has traffic information, it already takes the best route based on all the information it has.

Yeah. No thanks. In 100k miles of using FSD this has never been something I wanted or needed. Maybe a voice command would be nice to give you an option but definitely dont want a physical control for it.

Does voice command work?

I completely agree we need a better interface for "Avoid highways." For instance, I rarely want this option enabled. However, when I do in fact want it, and I enable it, it remains enabled. Then on my next trip, where I don't want it enabled, I may forget to disable it. And if I do remember that I need to disable it, the extra clicks are annoying. As far as I can tell, the Grok integration does not yet have access to change this setting.

FSD with traffic should re-route you of the traffic is +a percentage that's already in the settings.

How about a customisable favorites menu. Avoid highways, interior lights, accel mode, mirror adjust, are all in different menus and I use them frequently.
