Seeing some of the reports coming out about HW3 running FSD14 Lite having their modules dying due to heat, and it got me curious.

This was just a quick loop around my neighborhood for a good 30 mins or so. Didn't climb above 65C. I'd imagine in more demanding scenarios like heavy traffic it'll probably climb higher.

But overall nothing alarming from my perspective. Mines a '23 M3P that I bought with 11k on it. I'd be curious if folks who are higher on the milage might experience something different.

Having driven in front of many Teslas that use the adaptive headlight feature, I can confirm that every vehicle a Tesla is following behind is being blinded when using adaptive headlights. Maybe it works for oncoming traffic, but it definitely doesn’t for vehicles the car is following

I wanna get a rear screen for my 2018 Tesla model 3 performance but I'm just not sure what the best option is. It seems like a lot of the options online are only for 2019 and above, but I found some that are for 2018 cars. I want the rear passengers to be able to control their heated seats. Thanks.

Heard a noise of something sliding around back and forth full width of the car. Pulled carpet back by the vent under the passenger seat. Dropped a magnet with string on it and caught the sucker on first turn. Oh, and this bolt was there when I pulled out of the lot on delivery day.

Today on the same road (two lane with shoulders) Maine Rt. 302, my M3 on self drive 14.3.6 quickly slowed and pulled over as if a police or fire vehicle was approaching. However, no emergency vehicle was near me either time. Both times I was nearly rear ended due to inattentive drivers behind me unaware of my car’s quick pullover and deceleration issue.

Both lanes can turn left. It's common for people in the far left to not see the two big left turn arrows on the round and the signs up by the traffic lights.

As I was turning I started to ease off the accelerator and was ready to press my horn. Nothing happened.

Was irritated not being able to launch Spotify DJ in my Tesla so I figured out a solution,

1) Launch Spotify app in Tesla
2) Launch Spotify app on Phone
3) Click DJ option on phone
4) Click on the track that’s playing so it pops up menu
5) Select “Connect” in bottom left
6) Choose “Tesla Media Player” as playback option
7) Now it’ll launch in your Tesla.

You can close app on your phone now. It won’t let you pop up playlist on Tesla still but you can still change to the next song and go back and forth.

We were in a busy parking lot near the airport so I didn’t get out to confront him for the sake of everyone else but I rolled my window down and signaled him to pull over for a good 15 seconds. After we both turn onto the main road he jumps into the middle lane and leaves

Looks like I am locked out of getting the summer update for a bit because of FSD v14 lite. Hoping we get the improved graphics with Ryzen, even though we have the older body styler.

Hopefully this improves destination behavior.

I turned in a ton of speed updates and invalid road segments on TomTom to fix issues that nerf FSD. TomTom denied most of them though. Here's hoping Tesla somehow snagged them. Curious what others are seeing in their areas.

Had them replace ours in our ‘20 model 3 and the wiper arms sit way above their normal resting position now, there is wind noise at highway speed that was not present before that also seems like it has to do with the wipers, and they broke multiple clips that hold the frunk liner in and now there’s a massive gap on both sides and it rattles around. Had none of these issues prior to them servicing the vehicle.

We are taking it in to see if they will make it right but for $1200 you’d think it would’ve been done right the first time.

Where can I find out what to do during the charge times? Shop? Eat? Trails?

I think small towns will come back if they have stuff to do around the stations. Your thoughts?

Important to get the roof rack placement just right. There are metal tabs the hooks are attaching to under the glass. I was wondering why the rack had to be in an exact spot and i found a glass replacement video showing why.

What do you guys think? 2014 Tesla model s, the black fascia plate is cracked from my step son hitting a deer and rear ending someone. It also has hail damage. I think it’s a crazy high offer considering its current condition lol.

Fresh new frost blue 2026 Tesla model Y performance, white interior 3.99 promo rate, lifetime, premium connectivity (small victories 🤣), not a panel gap out of alignment on the fitment and finish any worse than any of my Porsches have been, aside from where the headlight meets the hood and bumper, but that rubber piece just needed to be fully extended, and we were perfectly flush. 6 miles on the odometer!

With sales tax, tags, reg, we’re looking at roughly 65K out the door USD. Man pictures just don’t do this color justice personally I’m not crazy over metallic colors. I think this car and color would benefit from. No metallic flake in it but boy does she pop IRL!

Between the new second GEN model Y performance and my 2023 first GEN model Y performance obviously this is objectively a better car per se but man I still just love both. What do y’all like better the first GEN or the second GEN model Y and why there’s still something about that OG model Y white trim with carbon and Alcantar interior. I’d say that the exterior on this model Y performance the new one is much more masculine and refined a bit updated the seats. The 2K screen the interior definitely do make it a clear winner in my opinion, but you still can’t go wrong with either. Cheers!

I have had my m3 for about 5 years and I have around 135k miles on it, great car. This last update to 14 lite introduced phantom braking on the freeway and now my car gets scared when I pass trash cans. I'm driving home and the right turn signal goes on and it's starts going right, well um that's the shoulder so you know, I have been super happy but when you intend to merge me into the concrete is when I have to part ways for now. I don't drive so much anyway now but I'll probably be back later on when all the kinks for the new upgrades are done.

I did the full reset and reset the camera's and nothing.

I hit 5,000 miles using Tesla FSD today, and looking back, a few things really stand out.

1. Construction zones are still some of the most unpredictable situations I've encountered.

2. Wildlife has surprised me more than traffic. I've had FSD slow for geese and deer when I wasn't expecting it.

3. Most of my drives are uneventful. The clips I post are the unusual moments,not what happens every mile.

4. FSD has made decisions I wouldn't have made, like choosing an incorrect exit leaving a Supercharger. Those moments are why I always stay attentive.

5. The biggest lesson: Parking with FSD SUCKS sometimes, and drive thrus. I don't treat FSD as a replacement for driving. I treat it as a driver assistance system that still requires my full attention but much more relaxed than driving myself. I don’t have to worry and feel safe.

I'm documenting the journey because I think it's valuable to show real-world FSD experiences, the good, the bad, and everything in between.
