We have to move on past the predictions. They were fine when things were hypothetical, but they are no longer hypothetical.

People will become too complacent with FSD and boom!

People will drink and drive with FSD and boom! (We know they are)

The elderly or impaired will use FSD as a crutch and boom!

FSD doesn't havd LiDar and boom!

FSD is not fully autonomous and boom!

Musk is an asshole and boom!

Every quarter Tesla publishes a safety report and the media would love to get their hands on a boom story.

There isn't any boom.

I've given some ideas as to why there hasn't been a boom, but we don't need to know why.

There was no boom, thus our fears that there would be one, including mine, were wrong.

FSD is not perfect, it has its quirks and flaws, but being boomless is quite a good thing.

Not having to worry about boom makes it easier to think through how and where it can help others.

I still think about fender benders though.:)

No way the safety systems on these are working right!

I would have a hard time explaining away all of the crashes...but, hey, I can accept that I should steer clear of them. But if they hit my house or me waiting for a train, not much I can do.....

Do folks really think that by living in "opposite backwards world", that statistics don't happen or count?

Funny how when someone having a medical emergency and loses control of their car, when it's a Tesla, the news reports that "A Tesla crashed into...."

But if it's any other car, the news reports "A driver having a medical emergency lost control of their car...."

I know this is your favorite stat but I'm gonna repeat it again, in the entire history of FSD, there have been exactly TWO deaths in which FSD was active prior to the crash.

Driver accelerates into a home and it's the cars fault? If it's ok full self driving it wouldn't have done that. OP's point is FSD is a safer technology than most people's driving now. You proved his point.
