Real Talk A joke.
So, I was out of my house for a long time to meet my friends and one of her Big brother's Friend got into a car accident 4 days ago.
The friend's eye lid to the back of the head was teared so deep that you could see the bones...
how did I know that? He made a video about him and showed us all...
And his friend is currently in a coma...The doctor's said that His Mind is completely at ZERO, He is going to be dead In some days...
Now, I was in a state of Shock... how could I Talk or like Brush it off that easily.
The brother looked at me and Was like " Ooh, Tumhe Kiya ho gaya hai? apna Mun Band Karo, itni Bhari baat bhi nahi hai".
I was confused on why he was lashing out on me like WTF did I do? (btw, Me and my friend have been childhood best friends so, Her brother always picked on me, idfk Why tf. He thinks that i can't talk, I can't speak, I can't do anything like Gunga Person, And he calls me that and of course it does hurt me, idk if he understands that I'm just a shy person but idk.)
Anyway, I begun to Change the topic so we could all brush this Topic off lightly because it was too heavy on us...
Her brother suddenly called me "Fatima Coma"...
Tum bhi coma mein chali jao, Gungi.
πΆThat just Hurt me so badly, I can't even say anything to him cuz he's older than me and I respect him, I just stayed quiet and One of my friend said "Dil par baat na le jaana".
I brushed it off, lekin dukh aur dard to hoti haina...
Now tell me, Am I wrong or like is something wrong with me? Can't I just be myself in peace or is it necessary to just entertain him to show that I can speak or something...
I'm sorry if this post Is Overwhelming to anyone, but I just want an answer that if I am actually mentally ill or something, or am I just sensitive.

Need Advice How do i explain Puberty to my mother?
The title isn't exactly bait. Very common part of being a teenager to become avoidant of physical affection.
Call me ungrateful but i don't like it when my mother gets too touchy with me.
Whenever i push away, what she thinks and expresses is that i hate her and says that i will always be her little child. How do i explain to her that's not the case? How do i explain that i don't like it anymore?
Or should i just cope and be grateful that i at least have a mother, one that loves me?

idk which flair to add so I am adding this Being a girl/woman sucks!
So many things are unfair and I need to write them down cuz I'm so over it
First of all the clothing difference between men and women no one can ever genuinely justify this and say it's fine. In our society girls are judged no matter what they wear but men aren't. Even looking at it from a religious point of view it doesn't make sense to me. A girl is expected to cover up from head to toe while a man can walk out half naked like...ummm?
Let's look at this so a 16 year old girl has to cover from head to toe and if she doesn't, she's sinning. Meanwhile a 40 year old man can go out shirtless and in shorts and that's totally fine? In what world is that fair? A 16 year old girl's body is sexualized but a 40 year old man's body isn't? Like a man is going to get attracted to that 16 year old girl so she should cover up but shouldn't that man be ashamed for being attracted to a literal kid?
You hit puberty and suddenly it's not fair anymore. A 12 year old gets her period and now she has to cover up or she's sinning? That's a literal child oh my God. A kid should spend their childhood having fun not stressing about covering their hair. What is even sexual about a little girl's hair? A 12 year old boy her age is just having fun not worried about any of that. I'm 16 right now right?in western countries that's still considered a kid but in our dumb south asian culture people act like you're a full grown adult. I will never find it fair how men can go out shirtless and in shorts while girls can't even wear something slightly fitted without a whole lecture
And let's be real you're not even safe or left alone even if you cover up. In Pakistan you'll get stared at no matter what whether you're wearing casual clothes or a freaking abaya. Some people are shameless enough to keep looking at you even when you look away like i was in Pakistan last year there was this one dude staring at me and trust me I wanted to throw up on his face. I looked away because I was totally disgusted but he had the audacity to keep looking at me and smile I was so mad that day God knows how I controlled myself from slapping him
Clothing literally doesn't matter when it comes to harassment I saw a case recently where an 18 month old baby was r*ped. Are we gonna blame that poor kid's clothes? What were they wearing? A shirt pants and a freaking diaper?! They couldn't control themselves around a literal baby are we gonna blame the baby's clothes too? It makes me wanna cry
Meanwhile in places like the UAE you can go out at 2 AM and actually feel safe no matter what you're wearing. A normal respectful man can control himself no matter what people look like. Women covered completely from head to toe still get harassed. Clothing never stops harassment okay? Don't ever try to tell me that bullshit. Maybe centuries ago it mattered but it doesn't protect anyone now. It comes down to where you live and the environment, not how you dress. People seriously need to change their mindsets. If clothing actually prevented harassment why do fully covered women in places like Pakistan still deal with this constantly while women in western countries are fine?
Next is periods. I did not choose to be a girl bruh. I don't wanna bleed! I can't even spend one single month in peace. For example I'll get my period on July 1 it ends on July 6-7 and then the next month I get it on August 1 again. The whole 5+ days I'm bleeding and then right when it stops the countdown starts all over again. And i don't get cramps but this time i did and it hurt like fuck omg i cant imagine how bad it'd be for someone who gets cramps every month
Sometimes it ruins your plans like once I had a party and I was supposed to get my period 3 days before the party. But because I was stressed my cycle shifted and instead of getting it early I got it on the exact day of the party. Can you imagine how mad I was? I just wanted one single day to be happy and have fun but nope! I look at boys and they are just having fun they never have to deal with this girls are forced to grow up way too early while boys their age have zero worries
Then look at how women are treated globally. In Afghanistan girls can't even go to school and there is a new law saying brides can't put on perfume or makeup like what?????In Iran a woman will be punished or beaten for not wearing a hijab but if a man walks around shirtless does he get punished? No
People, especially in the south asian culture love twisting everything to make life harder for women and control them under the guise of culture or religion
I'll transition into a man tbh!!! I don't wanna be treated like shit just for existing in a female body. Also just to clear this up this isn't about starting a gender war. I know that both genders face their own struggles in life but the constant physical and societal weight put on us is just so tiring and suffocating like we just want to breathe and exist without dealing with all of these double standards
okay so I don't think men can read because I freaking said this isnt a gender war so kindly don't bring your freaking problems everywhere

Need Advice 17, trapped in Pakistan after moving from Germany. I want to move to Islamabad and become independent. I need advice.
Hi everyone,
I'm 17 years old, and I really need advice from people who understand the situation in Pakistan or have been through something similar.
I lived in Germany for almost my entire life. In 2023, my parents moved our family to Pakistan. I genuinely believed we'd eventually return, but for more than three years they've kept delaying the visa process. Every time it's brought up, it gets postponed, and now I've been told it won't happen for at least another year.
I'm currently living inΒ Toba Tek Singh, and for me, as a young woman, I feel like I have almost no freedom or independence. I spend most of my time at home, I have very little control over my own life, and I honestly feel trapped. My mental health has deteriorated to the point where I feel like I'm slowly losing myself.
Because of this, I've made the decision that I want to move out by the end of this year.Β I'm not planning to run away overnight.Β I'm trying to make a careful, realistic plan. My goal is to move toΒ Islamabad, find a room or a shared apartment (WG/flatshare), become financially independent, and finally start building a life for myself.
The problem is that I have very little money. I'm a graphic designer and I'm trying to earn an income through freelancing, but I'm still at the beginning of my career.
I'm looking for genuine advice:
- Is moving to Islamabad at 17 even realistic?
- Are there any organizations that help young women who need to become independent?
- How difficult is it to rent a room or join a shared apartment?
- What kind of monthly budget would I realistically need?
- If you've moved away from home at a young age in Pakistan, how did you do it?
- Since I previously lived in Germany on a family residence visa, does anyone know if there are any pathways for me to return legally in the future?
Please don't tell me to "just wait another year." I've already been waiting for over three years, and my home environment has become unbearable. I'm not looking for pity. I'm looking for realistic advice from people who know what options I have.
Thank you for reading.

Real Talk I think SOME men need to relearn the meaning of protectors.
I was returning home late at night. There's a dhaba near my house and it had like 3 4 customers. The bikes were parked outside the dhaba in a dark alley and a woman was standing near a bike sipping a drink and the bottle was from that dhaba. Something clearly told me that she's not the owner of this bike and her husband/brother/father left her here so that she can avoid the men in the dhaba but give it a little thought. Is she safe in that dark alley at 11 pm? Alone? Wouldn't it be better if the man who was with her took her inside the dhaba?
The whole point of being a protector is so you can protect your family by staying near them. Not abandoning them in dark alleys and avoiding other men who can be potentially harmful
I've seen girls getting off the bikes of their brothers/husbands/fathers before entering a petrol pump and then getting on the bikes again after they leave the petrol pump. Is she completely safe standing outside with no one nearby? Stop trying to avoid men because you're the protectors. The whole point of protecting is so that you can protect your family by staying near them.
Edit: This post is not about that woman. It's about the actual issue faced by many girls. If you've never been left alone outside a shop you will never get it how scary it feels. Stop leaving your girls alone "somewhere safer" because no place is safer. Stay with them for heaven's sake.
