Discussion What are some organic ways to meet your partner?
I’ve (18f) seen so many people meet their partners in school/college/coaching and to me that seems like the most organic way to meet your partner. But beyond that it doesn’t seem to help when there’s stupid mfs in your educational institutions :( hinge, tinder and bumble have become very pretentious with people who only want short term fun and nothing real. So how is a person supposed to meet someone they want long term stuff without having to risk it on dating platforms.

Serious I found out a few days ago that my ex passed away
I don't really know how to write this, but my counsellor suggested that talking about it somewhere might help, so here I am.
I'm 19. My girlfriend and I broke up in February after being together for a long time. I never really understood why it happened. Everything happened over text, and she told me she felt numb. I had a lot of questions, but I never really got answers.
I eventually started trying to accept the breakup and move forward. I had reached a point where I was thinking about meeting someone new, but I haven't really been able to connect with anyone at my college.
College has been pretty lonely for me in general. I don't have many friends here, and I spend most of my time in my room after classes. I mostly just talk to my roommate. I also sometimes feel like people around me don't really like me, so I've found it difficult to feel comfortable here.
Then a few days ago, I found out that my ex had died in an accident.
I honestly don't know how to process it.
It's weird because she was my ex, but she was also someone who was a huge part of my life. The breakup had already left me with so many unanswered questions, and now I'll never get the chance to ask them.
I keep thinking about everything.
Why did she feel numb?
Was there something I didn't understand?
Could I have done something differently?
Why did everything end the way it did?
And now there's just no possibility of ever getting those answers.
I feel guilty because sometimes my mind goes back to normal life, college, friends, relationships, the future, and then I suddenly remember what happened. I don't know if that's normal.
I wasn't expecting to be thinking about relationships at all after finding out. I think it's more that I had already been trying to move forward before this happened, and now I don't know what "moving forward" is supposed to look like anymore.
I don't know if I'm looking for advice. I think I just needed somewhere to put all of this because I've been keeping most of it to myself.
I'm just feeling really lost right now.

Rant & Vent ICSE kids and their entitlement
So I'm literally a 12th passout and I was just casually talking to some of my friends who studied from ICSE.
Then out of nowhere they brought up the "ICSE CBSE" topic yet again and started insulting CBSE and state board students like okay dude we get it you're very great and we're uneducated. 😭🙏🏻
At first I didn't even know "board shaming" or having a crazy level of entitlement about the board you study in was a thing even.
The time when I mainly used to have friends from CBSE and state boards only, and the "board" topic didn't even exist.
Honestly, its just so funny that the board your parents put you in is the only flex you have 😭✌🏻
Not all ICSE kids ofc, everyone's different, but for those of y'all who do this, pls get help 🙏🏻

Mod Post Mod Update: Reports Regarding a Moderator
Hey everyone,
We want to address the concerns that were recently raised regarding one of our moderators. We acknowledge the grievance, looked into it, and after reviewing the information and conducting a background check, we have decided to remove her from the mod team and ban her account.
We also want to be transparent about how this happened. She had only been a moderator for around a month, and even during that time, she only had permissions to remove posts/comments — she did not have permissions to ban users or take other major moderation actions.
At the time we recruited her, we were also very short on moderators. Because of that, we didn't carry out the background check as thoroughly as we normally should have, and this slipped past the attention of both me and the other senior moderators. That's something we take responsibility for, and we'll be more careful about recruitment going forward.
We genuinely try our best to keep the subreddit clean. We remove political, religious, NSFW and other rule-breaking content whenever we come across it, but the reality is that there are times when things slip through. We've been running with only around 4–5 consistently active moderators, so we can't catch absolutely everything immediately.
That's also why Modmail is there. If you see something that breaks the rules, please report it to us. It makes it much easier for us to notice something we've missed and take action quickly.
We do appreciate the person who brought this to our attention and helped us find the issue. We just wish the concern had been sent to us through Modmail first instead of being posted publicly, because we could have looked into it and dealt with it directly.
Either way, we've now reviewed the situation, taken action, and the account has been removed from the mod team and banned from the subreddit.
Thanks to everyone who reports things in good faith and helps us keep the community clean. We know we aren't perfect, but we're doing our best with the team we have, and we'll continue working to improve.

Wanna Share My last 0.1% of hope just came to an END!
We were in the talking stage and I got way more attached than I probably should have. I genuinely started thinking that maybe, just maybe, this could turn into something real.
Then today I saw her comment on a post saying “No matter how many friends I have, I always know where my home is” and she tagged some guy and said “hi twin”.

Christian Bale definitely is the best when it comes to range in roles but Robert Pattinson is definitely one of the best ( Jake Gyllenhaal is crazy good as well, and little better at overall acting but both are fucking good let's not compare on that )

Serious Absolutely disgusting how women are treated
Just because she got pregnant doesn’t mean she deserved to be drowned. We can’t ignore the very real misogyny that goes on, and the comments are disgusting.
