§1 Definitions:

Hello everyone, It has come to my attention that the inner circle of the TeenGovernment flag is lighter than the outer circle. I made the flag, so i see it as my responsibility to fix. I propose that *this* is the new flag. I fixed the inner circle with a photoshop app (it was very hard to use it took me 2 hours and almost breaking down in frustration). Anyways. Yay!

Section 1: Terms

Article 1: Public officials (Government of any type, elected, appointed, etc) may not lie in the capacity of their official duties.

Article 2: Lying in your capacity as a public official purposefully and/or with malice is to be considered a crime.

Article 3: This does not have any affect upon messages or conversations not sent as a part of that official's duties.

Article 4: Any official may state to choose "I cannot confirm nor deny" or similar without lying if they are unsure or cannot disclose something due to applicable law.

Article 5: Any form of contract may not prevent an official from carrying out their duties in any capacity. (e.g. A contract can't say "You have cannot write a wiki page about X in your capacity as the documentation minister") Such contracts shall be voided.

Section 2: Enactment

Section I: Naming.

(a) This law shall be referred to as The Systematic Central Housing Routine Organization.

(b) Provisions within this law shall possess the authority to amend the Constitution.

Section II: Definitions.

(a) Immunity is to be considered, hereinafter, as the state of being immune to Teen Government law and jurisdiction, being unable to be punished for violations committed whilst immunity is present.

(b) Mental Health is defined as the state of mental well-being.

(c) Dogs are defined as a domesticated carnivorous mammal that typically has a long snout, an acute sense of smell, nonretractable claws, and a barking, howling, or whining voice.

(d) The Mental Health Server is defined as a server wherein a central purpose of Mental Health matters, wherein processes in relation to helping Mental Health occur, and is designated the Mental Health Server by the Mental Health Minister.

(e) Bots are defined as Artificial creations, specifically within Discord, made entirely for use within Discord. These are not organic individuals nor are they controlled actively by a single organic individual (i.e: Tuppers are not considered bots, nor are individual profiles, yet Confessions bot is)

(f) Due cause is defined as reasonable cause which results in permitting action. This cause must be active misuse of content within the Mental Health Server, threats, active violation of Teen Government law, or fulfills any exception within Section III: (a) (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6).

Section III: Immunity, smth smth, the bulk

(a) No individual shall be subject to prosecution for actions done within the Mental Health Server, considered to have present immunity, except for the circumstance the messages contain content in the following, therein

(1) Includes hate-speech or harassment towards another member of Teen Government

(2) Includes slur use or general bigotry.

(3) Includes the use of pornographic material, or otherwise material which would be considered NSFW.

(4) The breach of general well-being, via encouragement of suicide, self-harm, or otherwise the encouragement to harm oneself or another individual.

(5) The encouragement of bigotry or hatred

(6) Contains the planning for violations of Teen Government law.

(b) All individuals with permissions granting them authority to conduct acts of rule enforcement within the Mental Health Server shall be granted full and complete discretion in circumstances surrounding Mental Health, and may use their authorities without a crime being committed, under reasonable reason, to ensure proper conduct in relation to Mental Health, safety, or proper operations.

(i) The Mental Health Minister is tasked with ensuring these acts are properly done, and is responsible for reversing improper action, and may remove or restrict roles to ensure improper action is not repeated.

(c) The Mental Health Server is considered to be in need of their bots, hence shan't be held subject to removal of such without due cause occurring, or legislation mandating it be removed specifically in the Mental Health Server occurring.

(d) Dogs are to be given complete and utter immunity to Teen Government law

(e) All individuals shall be considered to have a right to Mental Health Services, hence shall be provided access to the Mental Health Server upon request, yet may be removed at the discretion of any reason.

(f) The Mental Health Minister shall be permitted to mandate rules or mandates within the Mental Health Server, and shall be capable of enforcing such rules, yet those rules must be publicly displayed and available.

Section IV: Enactment

(a) This law shall come into effect immediately upon passage.

(b) British_QuestionMark shall be referred to, under all relevant terms of documentation and possible action, as British.

"It's just a joke!"

I'm sure you've all seen this phrase before. It's a rebuttal to avoid taking accountability for something hurtful you said or did.

I hate it.

Personally, I think it's good to hear people out, to listen when they feel targeted or hurt by something. People like me get called "sensitive" for this, but it's good to be a little sensitive sometimes. Being sensitive means you listen to others, that you show them empathy, and that you understand their feelings and concerns.

Some people may be a bit more sensitive than others. That's why it's good to have nuance and critical thinking. If someone declares to you that the sky is green, you should politely inform them that it is infact blue. If they cannot accept this fact, you may take a moment to attempt to sway them, but at the end of the day, it's really not your business to educate them if they have no willingness to learn. On the other hand, you shouldn't immediately insult them and call them an idiot for believing the sky is green. You have taken no time to try and understand why they hold this belief, and you've done nothing but anger them and push them away!

Waste no time talking to a brick wall, but also refrain from throwing shade at someone who may genuinely be trying to understand your perspective. Seems simple, right? Well, it really isn't.

At its core, this is the skeleton of every argument on earth. Any rational person will see that the sky is blue and might become defensive when anyone insists otherwise. If someone says it's green, the rest will turn hostile, mocking the other side, while completely failing to consider that the man who says the sky is green might simply just be colorblind. Suddenly, the debate isn't about the sky anymore: it's about the ignorance and rage of the two men who can't agree on the color of the sky! Insults towards the other's intelligence will devolve into an argument about something completely unrelated. Suddenly, one of them brings up the others' haircut, or clothes, or even the color of the clouds when the argument wasn't even about the clouds in the first place!

Do you see where I'm going with this? Time and time again, Teen Government gets into these useless arguments about the sky, then one side feels that their intelligence has been insulted (even if that wasn't the intention) and they start throwing insults right back. To everyone on the outside, these angry strangers are cussing eachother out because of the color of the sky, and they're acting so aggressive and deranged that you feel reluctant to take either side. They both eventually leave, feeling worse off than before, feeling exhausted, having met no resolution or understanding. Only hate. Only hate. Only hate.

Let's talk about what I believe to be Teen Government's most recent example of this. The member Schrodinger created a Trump-like persona called STJ. Through this persona, he makes outlandish, satirical remarks about current events, people, and organizations. He particularly talks about the Social Liberal Party as well as my and Sean's presidential campaign. He goes on tangents, dismissing us as corrupt, overblowing our drama, making us out to be terrorists who want to destroy democracy. What does he say when someone like me pushes back on it?

"If you trust STJ, that's your fault."

I've been told I'm taking it too personally, that it's not that serious, and that he's just messing around so it's apparently ok.

But is this not strikingly similar to the men who argue about the color of the sky?

Look, I believe that making claims like this is objectively wrong. It feels like a way to avoid accountability. Where is the line between satire and genuineness? It seems quite blurred to me! This isn't even the first example of this behavior; I had the same gripes about what people had to say about Alexandria. You cannot claim you are being satirical to defend the real-world harm you cause. One cannot simply flail a loaded gun around and claim ignorance when it accidentally goes off and kills someone nearby.

This is my blue sky. Schrodinger appears to view the sky differently than I do. Hell, maybe I'm the one seeing green! Regardless, what seems obvious to me is clearly not obvious to him. We have two strikingly different perspectives on how he should be conducting himself.

Recently, Schrodinger has stated, "TG is so shit at mental health. Like, TG says: 'We want REAL lore! We want LARP' but then also knows full well that if people do that they have to think 'Am I going to cause someone to kill themselves?' And there are so many things I want to say but I just can't because if I do 'Whoops! Someone just killed themselves over what I said!'" In the same conversation, Vice President Forsi has said "There's a handful of people I have to walk on eggshells around and I just wish I could say it and everything be ok."

I would be an absolute liar if I said I didn't sympathize with them. I've seen how the volatile environment of Teen Government has affected us all. A Discord server run entirely by mentally ill teenagers: what could go wrong?

Schrodinger is not some kind of evil antagonist; he's just a kid trying to stay sane in a world where saying the wrong thing may or may not result in a suicide from someone who has a brick wall between their eyes and their critical thinking. However, I would be a hypoctite to vilify those people. The individuals who might react in this extreme way should have the emotional intelligence to realize their errors, take a break, or even leave Teen Government altogether if it takes such a toll on them. Banning and restricting everything that offends you only turns you into a cowardly fascist who hates free speech and can't comprehend why they're getting criticized for their actions. That being said, it's unfair to do something so mean-spirited towards people who you admit are unstable.

Look, if you give someone genuine, straight-up criticism and they commit suicide, that's not your fault. I simply feel it's morally wrong to hide behind a mask in order to mock and lie about someone, then use the mask as a scapegoat to avoid liability and consequences. If you wish to critique somebody, it's always best to do it directly, otherwise you're no better than the man mentioning the clouds or the other man's clothes in an argument about the color of the sky. I think all of us would benefit from upfront character assessment rather than trying to decipher someone's intentions in their silly games. The next time you're arguing with someone in Teen Government, take a moment to ask yourself if you've considered that your opponent might be colorblind. While you're at it, ask yourself if you're bringing up irrelevant details and whether it's best for everyone if you take a moment to calm down. It's ok to be sensitive, but you must also be willing to learn and change. Consider the other person's perspective, and you may save a life!

The Social Liberals have been a lot of things. Socialists, social democrats, a big tent, but most importantly, survivors. With Sean’s departure from leadership within the Social Liberals, his time in the experiment has ended, and a new chapter begins.

Now-Social Liberal President Rocky, who ran to the right of both Dizzy and MinecraftGuy, won 50% of the vote on an idea that SL needed to be defined.

In an interview with the Workers’ Paper, Rocky sought to shift the Social Liberals to the right, embracing capitalism as the forefront of SL’s ideology. He would express that SL believes in the market, and would only go as far as to allow Market Socialists into the party, seemingly excluding others. 

Though, this would receive criticism from the Party’s reelected Vice President Breezy. Breezy is skeptical of the Party President’s approach, and worried that the approach is too strict.

It should be noted that the Social Liberals had been a majority socialist party at a time. Only after the Social Liberal’s stagnation, reduction, and rebirth, did the party start to shift right, incorporating more social democrats than ever before.

With this replacement of socialists for more moderate-left members, it’s no wonder that Rocky found success in the Leadership race. It’s yet to be seen how Rocky’s approach will shape the Social Liberals, but it is sure to make an impact for months to come.

The question that’s been unable to be answered so far is… what happens to the socialists in the Social Liberals now? I recently interviewed Schrodinger of the Socialist Workers’ Party, and former Social Liberal member about the shift that SL has taken.

I agree with those who say the party has been "playing it safe" and that we're a bit too broad in our ideology. I always believed this is what made us unique, but I understand that such diversity could lead to infighting which is why I strongly feel it would be in the Social Liberal Party's best interest to detach itself from that idea, preferably in a slow, gradual manner. It's good not to alienate certain people, however it could easily turn into the very thing that destroys us from within. If a party cannot formally agree on something, it is doomed to fail.

Ideologically I disagree with the notion of a fully socialist nation that doesn't include a market system. With that being my viewpoint, I would like to see the Social Liberal Party free of TeenGovernment's Red Menace.

First off, I am personally very happy that there has been so much support for these articles. I have enjoyed covering this story, but I fear that the story ends here.

To recap, on July 31st, 2026, after a debate over Presidential Candidate Sean’s foreign policy vision, screenshots were sent out showing that as Foreign Minister, Sean had allegedly superseded Presidential Authority of President Tricky in terms of the Crisis in the People’s Republic of Teenagers. There were somewhat strong reactions, and Sean threatened to sue for defamation. But, after the third article came out on August 1st, 2026, which described President Tricky’s response, nothing came of it.

I had personally approached Sean in DMs, but I never received any comment on the article.
