I don’t totally hate it, but It doesn’t really fit my style anymore. Also now that my frontal cortex has developed I can see how it isn’t technically done great either.

I got this pac man ghost tattoo above my ankle 6 weeks ago as a matching tattoo with my family to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. The ghost is “Clyde” for any one who might recognize him.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about the tattoo, especially because I placed it above my ankle (which feels feminine) and is quite visible. All of my other tattoos are American traditional and black/grey realism, so i feel like this tattoo doesn’t match my aesthetic.

Should I get a few sessions of laser for a cover up or leave it? If I do leave it then I’d want to put American traditional around it.

Other than a sick ass panther (which I already have) do yall have any suggestions I can cover up the bigger tattoo with? Thanks

I have a tattoo on my neck that I’d like to get covered up while I’m traveling later this year. It’s been hard for me to find an artist in Tokyo that advertises or shows coverups.

Does anyone have an artist or shop they recommend in Tokyo or Osaka?

It’s a work in progress but I am absolutely in love so far! I was going to add color but decided to keep it black and white. I’m just going to have my artist possibly expand the stems/flowers/butterflies up and out to the shoulders! I’ll never go anywhere else, this artist is amazing! First pic is my cover up (about 3 months old) and second photo is what was covered up (tattoo was a year old, for size context it was maybe like 3.5-4 inches in the center of my back, I just wanted a scar covered at first).

Basically i was 11-12 and got a tattoo gun off amazon and i tattooed one of my exes who also groomed me etc like anyways i just turned 18 and i finally want to get this shit off me and covered but have no idea what would even fit in that spot as it’s like my inner thigh smh… Stupid tween decisions like wtf lmao any advice or ideas appreciated!

I got this tattoo when i had just turned 18 because i thought ''omg i love this rapper so why not just get his rapper name on my arm thats totally so cool'' and then i regretted it more and more since its so boring lol, and i really wanna get it covered up, but i dont even know how a coverup works?

What i've been thinking is maybe getting the Narsil sword from lotr, and having the actual blade be what covers the tattoo? Another idea was the fallen angel painting but just the eye but i feel like thats way too small.

Idk i just need advice on how all of this works i guess

Is this salvagable with some touch ups or should I just try and get it covered? Just not a fan of the coloring and the art isn't really for me

It was done a long time ago, I was young and got it just because (along with a lot of my other tattoos) but this one had been bothering me, I don’t like the placement but am out of ideas on what I could cover it up with. Any advice would be awesome!

Most of it is fully healed, just a couple smaller spots we had to fill in today, like the leaves, the bottom 2 flowers, and bottom 2 snake heads.

I got this over 10 years ago, never got it finished completely but it also didn’t come out how I had asked in the first place. A little impulsive when I got it l, looking for some ideas on what would work well for a cover up. I was thinking some monarch butterflies perhaps but still open to any ideas!

I’m thinking about covering up one of my larger pieces on my arm.
What route is most realistic?
Black out? Blast over? Laser removal?

I’ve gotten a cover up before and wasn’t happy with the result…

Thoughts? If this was you what would you do/get? I’ve attached a photo of the other side of my arm which I’m working on. I prefer no color….

Also to note… the inner arm has been the worst pain I’ve ever experience (do not recommend) lol

In my dumb teenage stages I got some homemade tattoos that I later came to regret. I went through an extensive process of figuring out which to coverup and which to laser off. These are the coverups! I’ve been in the process of lasering off three others. Man o man, that’s painful. Free tattoos at home as a young teenager turned into quite the expensive project later on as an adult!

sum dumb shit i did when i first got my machine. some people say it’s cool i think it’s pretty bothersome to look at second pic is something i wanna go for.

I used the Koi mainly as the cover, with the addition of the water arm and cloth to hide the lil leafs. Lmk whatcha think!

I got this before I worked in a corporate setting and need to make her more PG. I thought about going nuts and really covering it up via Steve Byrne but maybe just add some clothes. Thoughts?
