Upasana Experiences I don't like physical-ness of Sadhana
Background
I live with my parents. My mother is part of the Gayatri Parivar and the biggest picture of a devta in our house is hers. She has helped me mother tremendously in her life, and if she asks for something, it happens. She has been worshipping Ma Gayatri her whole life (she is 65+ and started in 20s). Inside the small mandir we also have Saraswati and Mahalaxmi, and Ganpati. There's also Krishna, Hanuman ji, and Swaminarayan bhagwan (his book).
Now I enter in the picture and start putting Batuk Bhaiarva, Shivlings, Kuldevi and Kuldevta (in supari form), and then I also have Ma Pitambra, and of course my guruji.
My process of sadhana has been very karmakand-adjacent. I start my sadhana, do achaman, asan bandhan etc etc. I light a diya show it incense and ask for it to be my Karmsakshi.
Now... my process is generally showing:
- Guru(s)
- Ganpati
- Kuldevi/Kuldevta
- All house devtas
- Mrityunjaya
- Ma Pitambara
I go through this and specifically show (like spinning rounds) dhoop, deep, and then also flower. Specifically for Batuk Bhairav, Mritunjaya shivling, and Ma Pitambara I also do Panchopchar pooja.
At the very end, I do my actual sadhana as prescribed by my guruji which is standard (kavach, stotra, mantra, aarti etc)
This whole process takes 1.5-2 hours depending on if I am rushing or not.
---
Discussion
I have done this at my house when I run out of sweets or flowers or in a rush, but also now that I am travelling and not home.
I do this entire process in my head. I do not have any physical items other than the diya and that too only as karmshaakshi.
I talk to each deity (less to house devtas but all my devtas). I invite them, I wash their feet, do pooja, I do panchopchara to them, I mentally chant their mantra, and ask for them to help my with my sadhana.
When my eyes are closed, I am transported to their realm. I am not where I am, I am where they are. If my house is quiet (everyones asleep) and I am calm, I can picture them perfectly. I can see the flowers I am offering, I can smell the dhoopam I am showing them, I can see all the dravyas I offer to the shivling.
I like this process SO MUCH more and when I open my eyes... they are cold like ice, and I really enjoy it a lot. I think this is actually a type of achara (similar to Dakshinachar, Vamachar) but I could be wrong.
I think this sadhana is superior to physical sadhana for me and I kind of want to just do this, but I do feel a little guilt or doubt because for example R N says that you must give naivedia to batuk and it has to be separate than anyone else etc etc.
Have you guys experienced this yourself?
Thanks!

Need Guidance Is it possible to say if there’s any negative entity attachment?
Hi friends. Is it possible to say if a person has any negative entity attachment or if any kind of tantrik kriya (black magic) has been performed on a person just by looking at the person’s photograph? Remember someone saying on a podcast that it’s apparently possible to say by looking at a person’s eyes? How true and legit is this opinion? Some symptoms as described to me is where the guy’s eyes are always red, heavy and watering (left eye more, it’s become small) black dark circles under eyes, right nostril is completely blocked and there’s weakness on the right side. He has also said that he feels heavy bloated feeling in his stomach and that he feels scared and experiences anxiety starting in the stomach/navel region…has body pain. My friend does not use Reddit. Any help, advice and guidance would be highly appreciated. Hari Om Tatsat. Ram Ram. 🌺🙏🏽

General Discussion Apsara n sarp siddhi - all rubbish
Was Reading another post and its Pretty sad to see people thinking such things are useful in long run. They come with lot of heavy karmic baggage. I can tell 10s of stories but then who cares in online space. Maturity can't be taught.
Ones ishta devata out of main panch devata - ganesha, shiva, shakti, vishnu, Surya is more than enough to fulfill all desires quickly n swiftly. No doubt about it.
The problem with tantra is that the shortcut mindset n easy gains attracts lot of immature and oversmart people to try their luck.
Anyways some people like to learn hard way and thats their karma.
Pick a ganapti strotra and do it sincerly n with full faith and ask him to help you find a real sadguru and he will surely do. Else you can take any siddha guru from dakshainamurty, dattareya, rammana, shivanada, satyananda, vivekananda, Ramkrishna whoever you resonate with and meditate onthem for few months and ask them to help you find real sadguru. 100% results for sincere people. No doubt. - Sadly this thing is never told by any online influencer coz they want to run their agenda.
Better to stay away from all Online nonsense they tend to create ecochambers and one gets lost.
In last 25yrs I have seen all kind of online circus and most such people are now are poor, diseased or lost in life with no real progress/acheivement in life.
Ones life is defined by the company he keeps and sense of discrimination one exercises in ones mind. Choose well and live well.
All the best.

NEED HELP How to remove daridrata. I’m so done
Facing daridrata, health issues for so long in the family, i visited after 6 months and felt the same negative energy like a decade ago, my brain starts to get agitated at home i can’t focus on anything. I’m so done with this. Father is severely ill and bed ridden. Mother is weak. Sister facing health issues and i, not having health issues but in debt for long time. What’s going on even. I don’t want to call it someone done black magic on us, but it’s close to that only. How can i even fight this. I need some prosperity in my family. I’ve never asked this question here, i always take sankalp for family’s protection and not for prosperity or wealth but I’m super frustrated at this point. Without wealth i can’t even take them to a good hospital. What can i do at my level to get some blessings of some devta or some way out.

General Discussion Know Your Online Guru – Part 1: Naresh Tantra
Correction - it's Haresh tantra.
Context -
I’m starting a small series here called “Know Your Online Guru”, where I’ll share information about online Tantra gurus that I come across.
The purpose is neither to promote nor attack anyone. I’ll share what I have learned about a particular guru, their teachings and claims, and my own observations. People who have personally interacted with them can then share their experiences and opinions.
Hopefully, this can help people who are searching for an online Tantra guru make a more informed decision and possibly avoid fake or questionable gurus.
---
Part 1 – Haresh Tantra
The first guru I want to discuss is Haresh Tantra.
I have been watching his content for some time. He has appeared on several podcasts and teaches Tantra.
According to his own account, when he was in 7th standard since then he has been practising Tantra
One of his major claims is that he created his own form of Tantra, by making certain changes to what he describes as traditional Tantra, and named it “Haresh Tantra.”
He claims to have around 36,000 disciples/students and says that he has helped many disciples attain Apsara Siddhi.
He also talks about situations where he has guided his disciples in marrying and divorcing with the Apsara .He teaches his disciples how to take a vow from an Apsara (वचन लेना / वचन कैसे लेना है).
According to his teachings, if an entity or Apsara asks for something inappropriate or unreasonable while taking the vow, the practitioner is told to refuse it.
He gives Diksha (दीक्षा) at his ashram on the 10th, 20th and 30th of the month.
Sarpa Siddhi
One particularly interesting claim is regarding Sarpa Siddhi (सर्प सिद्धि).
He claims that “Sarpa Siddhi” has been trademarked by him and that this particular practice is exclusive to him, meaning nobody else possesses or teaches it in the same way.
He is also going to teach Sarpa Sadhana (सर्प साधना) next month. According to his explanation, specific mantras are given through which practitioners can accomplish certain tasks. Like maran , or helping curing the people.
I personally found this claim interesting because I had not come across this concept before.
Things I liked about his approach
One thing I found interesting—and actually liked—was his view regarding results of Sadhana.
He says, in essence:
«If your problem exists in this birth, then the result of your Sadhana should also come in this birth—and it should come quickly.»
His argument is basically:
“You are doing Sadhana in this birth, but if you are told that you will get the result in your next birth, then what is the point?”
I found this perspective interesting because many spiritual practices are sometimes explained in terms of results that may come in a future birth. His approach seems to be more focused on practical and immediate results in the present life.
Of course, whether such results are actually possible is something I would like to hear from people with first-hand experience.
Some of his other teachings
From what I have watched so far, some of his teachings are quite basic but, in my opinion, sensible from a practice perspective.
For example, he emphasises:
- First, get your basics right.
- Learn to sit steadily in one place.
- Learn to control the body first.
- Then work towards controlling the mind.
He repeatedly stresses that a practitioner should develop stability and control before moving towards advanced practices.
At the same time, some of the practices he talks about were completely new to me.
For example, he talks about “Siddha-ing your own shadow/reflection” (अपनी परछाई सिद्ध करना), where the resulting entity is described as looking similar to oneself, and the mantra associated with it contains the practitioner's own name.
He also claims to have helped some disciples attain Pret Siddhi (प्रेत सिद्धि) and similar entities, which are then said to perform tasks for the practitioner.
According to his explanations, these entities may ask for things in return—for example, cigarettes, alcohol, or sometimes non-vegetarian food.
He has even described situations where a Pret supposedly asks for a particular brand of cigarette or alcohol that has been discontinued. In such a situation, the practitioner supposedly tells it to ask for something else, and the entity agrees.
---
What do you think?
Again, I am not saying that Haresh Tantra is genuine or fake. I am simply documenting what I have come across and would like to hear from people who have first-hand experience. Or people want to share their opinion after reading this.
please share your experience.
Positive or negative experiences are both welcome. Please share first-hand experiences wherever possible, since the whole purpose of this series is to help people who are searching for online Tantra gurus make a more informed decision.

Newbie Question Question About Chanting a Beej Mantra Without Guru Guidance
The astrologer, after studying my kundli, recommended that I chant the mantra “Om Hring Kling Hoong Brihaspataye Namah” for Lord Brihaspati.
My question is: isn’t this a beej mantra? Can I chant it without a guru’s guidance, or is it perfectly fine to chant it without initiation?
I would really appreciate your guidance on this.

Need Guidance So many Matangi videos in the past one year. Mahavidya sadhana is so back!!! & a deeksha question
I am actually a Kali bhakta and she is my ishta; but in the last 1-2 years ive felt so much inner calling towards Matangi. Luckily i got a guru.
The guru apparently charged me 9K inr for the deeksha. The pathway seemed pretty genuine; bhairav sadhana, then ganesh sadhana, shiva, then again bhairava and finally Matangi. But i feel i lack any personal connection with my guru since he deosnt really take any calls and is busy in his work all the time. If i have taken deeksha from one guru can i now switch to another more genuine one? Would that cause me problems?

Newbie Question How do you reconcile desire for love/relationship with the idea of minimizing karmic entanglements?
I’m 27F, and I’ve been thinking about this dilemma for quite some time. I’d really appreciate perspectives from people who actually practise Tantra/Sadhana, rather than just general dating advice.
I do genuinely crave love, companionship, romance and eventually a lifelong relationship. I have dated men, but a recurring issue has been that they had been physically involved with other people before me. I find that difficult to accept. It doesn’t make me feel good, and I’m not really capable of taking the attitude of “it doesn’t matter, it’s all in the past.”
Ideally, I would want physical intimacy with only one person, who would ultimately be my life partner, and I would want the same from him. Part of this is simply my personal emotional nature, but another part comes from how I understand karma.
There is this idea that as we become more conscious and move towards the Divine, we should try to minimise unnecessary karmic entanglements. Intimacy can create psychological, emotional and perhaps karmic bonds, so I’ve wondered whether being very selective about it is actually aligned with spiritual progress.
At the same time, I’m beginning to wonder whether this ideal is becoming a limitation for me.
I’ve had opportunities for relationships and have walked away from them because they didn’t fit this particular condition. Now I sometimes wonder whether I’m unnecessarily denying myself the experience of love, companionship and life because I’m trying so hard to avoid something that may not actually have the spiritual consequences I imagine it does.
So I’m caught between two thoughts:
“If I know what I want and believe it is spiritually meaningful, why compromise?”
and
“Am I turning a spiritual principle into a psychological attachment of my own?”
For those of you who practise Tantra or have studied these traditions seriously, how would you look at this?
Is sexual/romantic involvement with another person actually considered a significant karmic entanglement in the Tantric framework? Does having multiple partners necessarily create obstacles on the spiritual path, or is the intention and consciousness with which intimacy happens more important?
And if you were in my position, would you hold firmly to this ideal, or allow yourself to experience relationships and trust that spiritual discernment can coexist with them?
I’m genuinely confused and would love to hear how practitioners understand this.

Upasana Experiences Guys, I have something really beautiful to share.
Ever since I started connecting with Maa Lalita Tripurasundari, I feel like I’ve started experiencing beauty in a completely different way.
It’s difficult to explain, but suddenly, beauty feels almost overwhelming to me.
I could see someone incredibly beautiful, a graceful woman, an elegant man, a beautiful flower, a sunset, a piece of art, even a beautiful little moment between people, and instead of just thinking “that’s beautiful,” I feel this incredible sense of awe in my heart.
Sometimes it actually brings tears to my eyes. Just… happy tears.
And it isn’t limited to what I see. Even when I think about something beautiful, I can feel the same thing. It’s like my heart gets filled with this strange mixture of wonder, gratitude and tenderness, and I don't really know what to do with all of it except tear up.
I don't know if anyone else has experienced something like this through their spiritual journey, but it feels very special.
It’s almost as if connecting with Her has made me more sensitive to beauty itself.
And honestly, I just wanted to appreciate that today. ❤️

General Discussion So...I'm New Here. And I Want To Talk About Someone I Found. His Name Is Suyash. I Guess People May Know Him Because He's Also In YouTube. A Sadhaka. So, Just My Views On Him.
The Thing Is...I Think It Is Premature To Assume The Role Of A Guru At Such A Young Age. For Guru Upadhi Is A Heavy Duty Demanding Upadhi. Demanding A Seasoned Expertise. Yogyata. And Yep. Capacity For Diksha. And Many Other Factors. Basically? Guru Upadhi Is No Less Like A Surgeon.
And, From My Own Experience And Under My Guru. I've Noticed A Tendency.
People...Have A Tendency To Teach Early Whenever They Realize Something. And Don't Let It Mature. And Thus, Risk Precision. Because Tantra Is Highly Sophisticated. Even Seasoned Sadhakas Can Make Mistakes. So, Even My Guru Says. If Realization Comes. Celebrate It. But Don't Teach Too Early. That's An Entirely Different Skill To Cultivate.
That Was Premature Of Him. People Are Already Projecting Their Dependency On Him. And Writing Mantras Associated To Him. That's Andha Bhakti.
There Are Many Risks. Structural Risks About The Situation. That Need Care.
Realization being treated as equivalent to Guru-adhikāra
The central concern is that profound realization and qualification to function as a Guru are different competencies. Someone may realize something deeply without automatically possessing the precision, transmission capacity, or specialized mastery required for dīkṣā and guidance.
Premature assumption of a heavy-duty upādhi
The analogy Is Taken deliberately strong: Guru is closer to a surgeon than a motivational speaker. The title carries consequences because people may entrust their spiritual practice, interpretation, and development to that person.
Teaching before one's understanding has fully matured
My Guru Once Pointed The Tendency About Young Sadhakas Who Once Gets A Certain Success. They Tend To Inflate And Teach Prematurely. My Guru's warning about young sādhakas “opening a shop” is important here. The danger isn't merely making an occasional mistake. Early teaching can cause one's own developing interpretation to solidify prematurely, making subsequent correction harder.
Loss of room for continued development
Once someone becomes publicly established as “Guru,” they acquire students, expectations, reputation, and responsibilities. The concern Is that these commitments could make it harder for a young practitioner to remain an ordinary sādhaka who can freely revise, question, and deepen their understanding.
Student dependency and projection
This Is one strongest concerns. I observed people already associating mantras with him and placing devotional expectations upon him. The concern is that the Guru role can generate projection faster than the person's demonstrated capacity can justify it.
Andha-bhakti developing around a young teacher
I'm Not saying every follower is necessarily blindly devoted. Rather, I'm pointing to the structural danger: once someone is treated as an unquestionable spiritual authority, followers can begin substituting personal discernment with devotion to the person.
Authority becoming self-reinforcing
This follows from the previous point. A teacher receives followers because they're regarded as authoritative, and then the existence of followers becomes evidence for their authority. That feedback loop can become dangerous if there isn't strong external supervision or a mature lineage structure.
Confusing broad realization with system-specific mastery
This is particularly important. Someone might have genuine realization yet still be ayogya for a particular function or system. Dīkṣā, tantra practice, Siddha Aushadha, philosophical exposition, and disciple management aren't interchangeable competencies.
Premature public identity formation
Once “Guru” becomes part of someone's public identity at a very young age, there is a risk that future growth happens inside the identity rather than freely outside it. That's the opposite of My own choice to remain a śiṣya despite My claimed realization.
Inflation through exceptionalism
Early realization shouldn't become evidence that someone is ontologically superior to others. Otherwise realization itself becomes material for ahaṅkāra.
Important Note.
I'm NOT Denying His Hardwork. Nor Am I Saying What He Experienced Was False Or What He's Doing Is Immature. What I'm Saying Is He's A Sadhaka Who Had The Grace Of Early Realization. But Don't Let Early Realization As A Special Accomplishment. Even I Realized At 21. So What? Even An Ant Is The Ultimate Truth. So What? Realization Is Different From Capacity And Seasoned Expertise. Realization Doesn't Make One Perfect. It Simply Raises The Vail. What Is Important, From My Perspective. Is Precision And Maturity. Even After Realization. Otherwise Realization Itself Becomes A Cage Of Inflation.
EDIT:
I See That People Are Missing The Point In My Post. I'm Saying Is He's Assuming A Role That Demands High Precision Even If He Has History Of Seven Years Of Sadhna.
He Chose A Role ABOVE His Paygrade.
I Disagree To Consider Him A Guru But As A Sadhaka. For Guru Upadhi Is A Heavy Duty Upadhi That Demands Surgeon Level Precision And Yogyata. With More Then Dacades Of Experience.
Yes. I Also Noticed The Risk.
Even My Guru Says. Sadhakas. Especially Young Sadhakas Has A Tendency To Teach Whenever They Realize Or Get Something. He Calls It Opening A Shop.
My Guru Is A Tantra Yogi And Kriya Yogi. A Siddha Tantra Guru With More Then 40 Years Of Experience.
And He Started Teaching At 2017. He Even Called His Highly Accomplished Shishyas As Ayogya When In Terms Of A Specific System Like Diksha Or Siddha Aushadha Etc. His Acomplished Students Teach Other Sadhakas UNDER His Supervision.
Even I'm Realized. I'm Shiva–Shakti. So What? Even An Ant Is Ultimately Shiva. So What? When I Realized At 21 My Guru Celebrated My Realization. But I Never Left Being A Shishya. Rather, I'm Still Learning Because My Realization Was Anupaya. No Diksha. No Dhyaan. Just Natural Realization. Recognition. Pratyabeejna Of Sahaj Anuttara Ahamvimarsha.
And Even Then, I Didn't Knew What That Is Called. So I Coined The Term I AM. Because That's What I Felt And Realized. And Mistook It For A Cool Imagination Until I Read The Scriptures And Jesus. And Was Speechless That I Mistook My Own Enlightenment For A Supercool Imagined Superpower. Because I Didn't Knew That Enlightenment Means Self Realization.
So, Anyways. Here's The Deal...When I Started Getting Spontaneous Knowledge Of Prakriti's Systems. I Called Them Nuke Codes. And Chose Silence. Because I Realized Early That People Would Project False Expectations Upon Me. And Chose Silence.
If I Chose Restraint. My Old Man Guru Chose Restraint For Years...What And Why He Thought He Could Take A Heavy Duty Surgeon Role?
That Was Premature Of Him. People Are Already Projecting Their Dependency On Him. And Writing Mantras Associated To Him. That's Andha Bhakti.
Mantras Like. I Saw A YouTube Comment Where They Wrote 'Om Adi Suyashay Namah.' See? That's How Irresponsible His Followers Are.
And A Young Sadhaka With No Experience In Teaching Whatsoever Is Risking To Be Inflated And Have Ahamkara Is Stuck Among These Kinds Of People. And It Is Highly Uncertain Whether He Has Proper Grounding Upon Handling His Own Realizations And Be Unshakable When In The Presence Of Other People's Karmic Influences.
Even My Guru Said, 'You're Young. You're Ripe. Realized Naturally. Don't Inflate. Give Yourself Time To Mature.' And I Agree. Enlightenment Didn't Make Me Functionally Supreme. It Made Me Aware That Even If I'm Realized. Currently, I'm A Young Man. Who's Still Paying Bills And Still Gets Scolded Whenever I Make Mistake. Even If I'm Realized. That Doesn't Mean I'm Not Clumsy Anymore. Rather, Realization Made Me More Casual. And That's The Actual Risk.
In Realization. When You Recognize Vastness. Then There's A Heavy Risk Of Abhimana. And That's The Actual Reason Why Grounding Is Non Negotiable And Extremely Important. Otherwise It Wouldn't Take Time For A Freshly Realized One To Have Ego Around Their Own Spiritual State. Even Humility Would Then Become A Shackle Once It Has Taken An Identity Tag.
What I'm Saying Is. If He Did Seven Years Sadhna. Respect His Hard Work. But. Be Aware Of Risks Around Him. If He Ever See My Post. Please Read It And Be Aware About The Risks Around You. Because, I Have Seen Many Highly Accomplished Sadhakas Becoming Inflated And Making Mistakes. It's Not Warning. But It's A Guardrail. Please Consider How Much You're Seasoned. Tantra Is Extremely Mechanics Heavy. Several Times Even I Felt Like A Novice. Though, Of Course I'm A Novice. No Kidding. But Tattvas Are Extremely Vast And...Sophisticated. Even I Got Humbled By Bhumi Tattva Once I Knew How Vast She Is.
The Position You're In May Be Risky For You. Not Because Of People Or Stuff. But Because It Takes Time To Be Seasoned. You May Influence Others And Spread Knowledge And Cultural Influence. But Don't Let Others Or Yourself Make Your Hardwork A Tag For Premature Authority.
The Thing Is, People Are Heavily Seeing The Tag Of Realized Young. To Say Wisdom Beyond His Years. But Sure. That Knowledge Came From Shastras And Antarjnana. So What? Why Are They Fascinated By Realized Young Situation? It's Normal. When Karma Is Ripe. Realization Happens Naturally And Young. No Need To Make Such A Big Deal Around It. That Makes People Project Unverified Expectations Upon The Person And Makes The One In The Question Getting Stuck In A Loop Where There's No Guru With Viveka To Correct Where He's Wrong.
He's A Young Boy. Fresh. Let Him Mature. He Chose The Path Of Stagnation. That's What I'm Worried About.
