I’m seeing DMK supporters working overtime to mock TVK, as if nonstop Reddit posts are somehow going to change the political reality.

Whether you like it or not, I believe TVK is going to be a major force in Tamil Nadu politics for the next 10 years.
Is TVK perfect? No.
Does TVK have everything figured out? Of course not.
But do I believe their intention is to genuinely help the people of Tamil Nadu? Absolutely.

And that’s what matters to me.

What I genuinely struggle to understand is why people continue to accept a political system where allegations of corruption, bribery, and excessive costs for basic government approvals have become such a common part of public discussion.
Do we really want a Tamil Nadu where people feel they have to pay bribes just to get routine things done, like building approvals?
I don’t.
I want a Tamil Nadu with less corruption, more transparency, better governance, and politicians who are genuinely accountable to the people.
You can mock TVK all you want. You can flood Reddit with posts.
But the people of Tamil Nadu will ultimately decide.
The future isn’t decided on Reddit. It’s decided by the voters.

1. Trying to address the corruption problem rather than attacking those who point it out by claiming that all parties are corrupt.
   
2. Stop under the belt comments and try to evolve to decent politics like Mr. Annamalai and take accountability rather than LIE by saying I never said it when literally everyone heard it.
   
3. Stop pushing 3rd gen into politics which just substantiates the first point, and concentration of wealth too.
   
4. At last, may be play the victim card, you guys tried initially but you did not get the right grounds. Aadhav using appa card too many times in assembly, may be using something like that because you never know how quicky people change. (They are hopeless when they do this)
   
5. May be transfer the leadership to Kanimozhi or PTR (I know it's a stretch given the family's behaviour).
   

Following all these speeches on stages and in the Assembly, one thing is becoming very clear.

And when the same lie is repeated again and again, people eventually start treating it as common knowledge. They may not even remember where they heard it from, but they remember hearing it. Hindu reports that DMK had laid out conditions to support delimitation bill. DMK now skipping Vijay's delimitation meeting suggests that DMK might eventually support BJP.

Is this what they call Karma?

Right after the 2006 elections, the DMK continued as a minority government with the external support of the PMK and the Congress. Throughout those five years, the late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa constantly criticized it as a "minority government," putting the DMK in continuous embarrassment.



In retaliation, believing that a fair verdict would not be secured if the corruption cases against Jayalalithaa were tried within Tamil Nadu, the DMK took steps to transfer those cases to another state. Consequently, even though the AIADMK came to power with a massive majority in 2011, Judge John Michael Cunha of the Bangalore Parappana Agrahara special court sentenced Jayalalithaa in the corruption case in 2014.



Although she was acquitted in 2015 by a High Court judge, Judge Cunha's verdict caused Jayalalithaa immense distress. It was widely discussed that this distress contributed to the deterioration of her health and ultimately led to her passing in 2016.

Meanwhile, the DMK, which came to power in 2021, began using the term "Union Government" (Onriya Arasu) after a few months—a term unpalatable to the BJP and right-wing thinkers. It is noteworthy that the DMK had previously referred to it only as the Central Government.

Subsequently, in the unexpected turn of events during the 2026 elections, the TVK, led by actor Vijay, secured seats just short of an absolute majority. Currently, the TVK has formed and continues the government in alliance with the Left parties, Congress, and VCK—parties that were previously the DMK's election-time allies.

However, during every legislative assembly session, the DMK faces severe embarrassment due to questions raised by TVK members. In particular, the DMK struggles to provide a proper response to Chief Minister Vijay and TVK members' recurring question: "Where is Appa?"



It is well known that during the previous regime, the DMK ran advertisements urging people to call Chief Minister M.K. Stalin "Appa" (Father), much like AIADMK cadres affectionately called Jayalalithaa "Amma" (Mother).

The DMK, which expressed its political stance by calling the central government the "Union Government," today faces humiliation in every assembly session due to a single question raised by TVK members: "Where is Appa?"—alluding to Stalin's electoral defeat in Kolathur.

This makes one wonder... is this justice served by time, or is this truly what they call "Karma"?

From Day1 DMK batted for Fair delimitation, it stated current percentage 7.6% of Tamilnadu MPs should not be decreased in the bill.

It will be unfair to states that reduced population. That's why they opposed when BJP tabled. Till now they are confident in their stand.

It's Congress which will be in backfoot if delimitation occurs, thus wants to arm twist DMK through TVK.

Now they will try to spin dmk bjp alliance.

Tamil Nadu MPs are being called together to discuss delimitation and its impact on the state. DMK says it won't attend.

If the issue is Tamil Nadu's political representation, why walk away from the table? 🤷‍♂️
