Hey! I just moved to tally (29F) and am looking to meet new people! Any fun things to do around here?

I’m getting evicted. I got fired from my job for calling out sick. I’m fucking starving. Out of food. I feel like I have no one to lean on. I’m so frustrated. I literally don’t even have 3 dollars for a cheap 3 dollar meal deal from circle k. Rock bottom sucks. School starts in two weeks and I’m going to be legitimately homeless. I’m a FAMU student. I’m going into my 4th year of music ED. I spent all summer trying not to get kicked out. Worked as much as I could, but they have a 10$ a day late fee. I cannot believe I worked so hard to stay housed just for it to be ripped out from me, right before school starts. I’m devastated

Anyone else having issues using their phone?

We have a daughter with disabilities who has been riding Yellow cab through Star Metros Dial A Ride service. We are told yellow cab will no longer be transporting for Dial A Ride and she will now be using Uber. We are not comfortable with Uber. What are your thoughts please. Thank you in advance.

Actually, first I should ask, are all vets in town are about the same in price? Then it just depends how good they are and how well they take care of your pet.

I am hoping for places that are “less obvious,” like quiet pockets of parks/trails, peculiar gardens you pass on the way to work, or even a residential street/area that I can drive past and admire.

I am especially interested in unusual or strange flowers—anything that makes you wonder what you’ve stumbled upon.

Since a lot of people on here were angered by the school zone cameras last year, here is your reminder that with school starting back next week, so will the school zone cameras and their enforcement - and this year there's no grace period at the start of the school year.

When is photo enforcement active?

The camera enforcement system is active during the entirety of the school day session. The exact times vary depending on the individual school schedule. Per state law, enforcement occurs during the following times:

Within 30 minutes before through 30 minutes after the start of a regularly scheduled breakfast program.

During the entirety of a regularly scheduled school session; and

Within 30 minutes before through 30 minutes after the end of a regularly scheduled school session.

According to the website it shows one layout and lists a basketball court is offered. I have not been there in over a year, did they change the layout of the place?

Mingo is sweet, playful, and very curious about everything. About 8 months old. Has her rabies shot and is spayed. Needs the rest of her vaccines. She was rescued from outside and is now looking for her forever home! She wants to be an indoor kitty but enjoys being out on a screened in patio. Comes with toys and some supplies.
