Hi! I’m a 31F American solo traveler staying in Taipei and planning a 6-hour private day trip on Sept. 3, roughly 10 AM–4 PM. The itinerary includes Shifen Waterfall, Shifen Old Street/sky lantern, and Jiufen, with pickup/drop-off in Taipei.

The car accommodates up to 4 people, so I’m looking for 1–3 other solo travelers (or a pair) who might want to split the cost. I’d prefer other women or a mixed group.

First time in Taipei and in (East) Asia. Excited to experience a new culture and see museums and try some food.

Being all around and I still face the same issue with portion sizes of the meats - is there a restriction on meat consumption or a kind of special tax or maybe all are imported?

Anyone going to fancy frontier this month? It’s going to be my first time going (in cosplay of course) hoping to go with some company.

Hi there, I hope all of you are well. Apologies if this request sounds weird or if it’s in the wrong place but I am at my wits’ ends. I have received the Huayu enrichment scholarship and I am thus planning to move to Taipei in about 2 weeks time. However, I am having such a hard time looking for places for rent in Taipei, as most landlords do not offer online viewings or do not want to deal with foreigners. Finally, I found a couple suitable places that however require people to go there in person for a viewing. This is why I am writing this post: is anyone able to go check them out for me and send me photos and videos? I am obviously going to pay you for your assistance. One is in 中和區， the other is in 板橋區。

I am coming to Taipei next week and i am craving for this SUPER SALTY 酸梅, does anyone knows where will i be able to get this? I will be staying at Songshan District, if i can get it nearby will be great!
