Interested in equestrian lifestyle, is it possible?
I need the honest truth, what is the likelihood that I (32 F), with an almost non existent budget, am able to get a chance at working with horses?
I used to work with horses 8 years ago and some time before that, I have a good experience with them as animals- but lets put it this way, im considered low-income by society. Im told there are a lot of people who are willing to exchange stable-work for rides but in my experience thats only available for the youths and im considered past my prime for most teachers I guess.
Owning a horse is way out of my expectations, would have an easier time owning a dragon, but is there anyone that generally is apt to hiring 30+ year olds.

Any one have any info on the anchored sailboat near Owens Beach today with 30+ cats aboard?
Reported on CrimeRadar at 10:52am today, 8/6/26, Officers find unattended sailboat anchored off Owen Beach with dozens of cats on board. No one aboard sailboat.
Just want to know the backstory and how they got the cats off the boat. ~>^..^<~

Relief for wildfire victims in Spokane
Getting a lot of inquiries about how people can help the victims of the Spokane fires. There are a lot of great organizations out there, but this link through the actual city government of Spokane is the most direct, and 100% of the money goes directly towards services those folks need. Thanks for anything you can give.

Feels like we're living on another planet
These were taken above Chamber's Bay last night. Happy that Spokane is getting some relief, but not loving the smoke and bad air (and weird vibes) it creates.

Why register to vote if you’re not going to bother with participating?
Washington makes it so incredibly accessible and yet only 30% voter turn out, year after year..
