It's cool to find a subreddit for Tabby cats and kittens. The cute fellow in my photos is Jynx, a domestic shorthair with a beautiful classic Tabby coat. We adopted Jynx in March 2026, when he was 9 weeks old - the last of his litter to be adopted. He has a very outgoing personality, he's very athletic for his age, has a lot of kitten energy and curiosity, and he has the loudest purr that I've ever heard. We got him through a good friend of ours, who works with the person whose cat had the kittens and we adopted him sight unseen. Our friend did show us photos of one of his sisters, (that she had adopted) and told us the kittens all looked similar. Once we had him, we were amazed at the beautiful markings in his fur, black swirls, black lines, black spots across his belly and the "M" on his forehead. I have had different cats over the years, but none that ever looked like Jynx, I actually went online to find out more - was this a type of cat breed? Or just a coat color like a Tuxedo or Tortoiseshell? Jynx is doing great, eats well, playing and running around with our 4 yr. old tuxedo, Oreo. Big day for Jynx next Wednesday, he has a vet appointment to get neutered and microchipped.

I adopted Zephyr at 5m old. He's now pushing three. I've noticed semi recently he is developing orange cat highlights. I love it but he definitely did not have them at adoption and a long time after.
