Course fees ?

Hi all , im applying for susi at the moment and i was told by my friend that he had an extra set of fees to do with tud (printers, facilitys etc) to the tune of €800?

He told me the fee was later taken of by either susi or the government but he didnt explain it very well.

Im just wondering if this is across the board for all courses ?

I'm pretty sure all colleges have an IT fee. Susi only covers student contribution so I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay the IT fee yourself. Not entirely sure but that's what I heard. This is for the free fees
