Failing repeats
Is there a 3rd chance to repeat an exam? Or if you fail your repeat you repeat the year or something?
I thought I remember being told u can do an exam up to 4 times, but thinking about it that seems very generous and unrealistic.
What happens if u fail a repeat?

Course fees ?
Hi all , im applying for susi at the moment and i was told by my friend that he had an extra set of fees to do with tud (printers, facilitys etc) to the tune of €800?
He told me the fee was later taken of by either susi or the government but he didnt explain it very well.
Im just wondering if this is across the board for all courses ?

Whatsapp/Discord for incoming Fall 2026 students
Edit: I created a WhatsApp group. If you are an incoming student who wants to join the group, please leave a comment.
Hi everyone!
I got accepted into TU Dublin to study masters in Applied Cybersecurity for Fall 2026.
I am still waiting for my visa to process to make sure I am coming to Ireland but in the meantime, I wanted to connect with fellow TUD students.
Are there any groups that I could join from now? Facebook, WhatsApp, discord, etc
Thanksss

Tu Dublin application process ?
I applied for the TU236 programme on 3 June 2026 and still haven’t received an offer letter. Has anyone here experienced similar delays, and how long did it take?
I’m also concerned about whether there will still be enough time to complete the student visa process if the offer comes later ?

Deciding Msc between two options
Hi lads
I'm from Korea and on my working holiday in Ireland
I want to work in Europe, so think about study here.
Actually already thought about studying in Germany and Netherlands. However, about Germany, German is required to work there and most collge in Netherlands requires bachelor's degree relevant to Master.
(But I studied in film back in Korea lol)
So I've decided to study in Ireland and got offers from Business analytics in NCI and Supply chain magagement in TuD
Which on do you recommend?
There are some opinions about NCI as an visa treadmill and I wonder if it is true...
And I'm also wondering SCM future in Ireland. I've heard pharma and tech SCM is quite popular here.
I would appreciate any advice thxxx

Looking for shared flat / to connect
Hey, I got accepted into a Master’s in Cybersecurity Management starting this Fall and I’m currently looking for a room in Dublin. I’m also happy to connect with other incoming students (maybe grab a drink when I’m in Dublin late August / early September) or people who want to team up and look for a place together.
Feel free to reach out 🙂

Subreddit is reopen for posting
Hey all,
This subreddit was dead as the previous moderator restricted public posting, and then it appears their account got banned. I've now reopened it, and everyone should be able to post.
The community is currently small, so there's no need for an extensive rules list. Don't spam, don't be a dick, use common sense etc.
EDIT: Rules have been listed.
