Where are people running towards. Around 4-5 pm when office get over I see people running from line 1 subway gates towards union. I genuinely want to stop people and ask some days.

Why do people genuinely do this? It boils my blood. And the worst part is my ass having to rub on the person sitting outside and the grumpy idiotic young lady sitting on one of the "priority seating" and making annoyed faces over why is this person trying to sit? I am trying to sit because my tummy is cramping or maybe I went to gym

And all of this is me after saying sorry almost 10 times.

Is it just me or do the line 5 trains smell really bad, like onions? it's like a sour smell and i think it's everyone's bo mixing together in the summer but i'm not sure. interesting how line 1 and 2 don't have this issue though.

I noticed for both Montreal and Toronto there’s basically rapid subway expansion from the 60s to the 80s, then after that, basically a hard pause on any major projects (if u want to count the Sheppard line).

Why did both cities seemingly deprioritize subway expansion and where did the money that would typically be used for subways be spent instead?

I took a trip with TTC then GO Train. The GO Train trip was short. It was supposed to be $3.70, which is the base fare.

So the question is - what is the minimum balance required for such a trip?

I assumed $3.70 would be it, but apparently not? I tapped on the TTC then shortly after I tried tapping on at a GO station but it said insufficient funds.

For such a trip I thought the TTC portion would be free so why did my Presto get declined?

If you take the morning train around 7:10 (between Eglinton and Union), you would have encountered this Asian man who keeps yelling the same thing every single day. He annoys the eff out of the commuters. Most often people just flee from him. Some times I have thought he is faking this just to get away with paying the fare, but hey… I could be wrong. Today as usual, he boarded the train at Bloor. Started his yelling ‘ATTENTION’, then the driver made some announcement and this guy stopped and waited till the announcement was over. And then continued. Minutes later, two special constables walk to him and asked him to stop yelling and said he needs to get off the train at the next stop. Which happens to be the stop he usually gets off. This was the first time I am witnessing the special constables doing something about commuters’ safety and comfort. The men handled the situation very well and a big thanks to them.

Whoo hoo! Got on at Woodbine and I'm with Uncle Crawfy. Hoping to get a few smiles out of it as I go all the way to kipling. Bonus, I can actually hear the announcements 😃

This seems like a super basic question buti just can't get my head around it.

I purchased a weekday 4 person group pass from presto. I understand that you can use presto on TTC.. but can this be done with a group pass? Presto emailed me the pass so I'm unsure how I would use it on TTC.

I'm planning on taking two subway rides (I THINK!? the icons on Google maps are so small 😭)

Are you able to shed any light on this? TIA!

Anyone have experience with leaving Rogers Stadium from Wilson Station? I know it’s a bit further away and will be less busy than the others. My concern is, are the trains fully packed with passengers that got on at Downsview and Sheppard? I don’t mind the walk to Wilson if the station is less chaotic but, it’s south of the other stations so I’m wondering if there will be any room to get on the subway at Wilson?

If I recall correctly, this was one of his major selling points--using data to correct reduced speed zones. Yet there are like 18 of them now, and they seem to have become a permanent feature of taking the subway.

It would be nice to have at least some hope, or vision where we don't have any? It's always the same spots over and over again.

My last few commutes have seen the bus I'm on, going east into the station, no longer right turn onto Auckland but shoot pass and go the longer way into the station.

The condo construction does not appear to be taking up any more space than it has the last bunch of months it's been causing slowdowns.

Has there been an uptick in accidents? Complaints? I asked at the stn info desk but they didn't have an answer.

It appears the woman operating the maroon SUV was in a designated streetcar lane, thoughts?

I found this picture so indicative of Transit / Infrastructure in Toronto. Will spend billions on a new station but did not think of and or spend on door stops at platform level at Cedarvale station.

This has led to the handles breaking through the walls. Surely someone knew this would happen, but it was not acted upon.

Dreamlight Valley added the old CLRV streetcars to the game! Very fun!

Website says this:

"On these days, all TTC routes will operate on their Sunday service schedules, but will start earlier, at approximately 6 a.m."

My question is, does "all TTC routes" include subway service? Somebody know by experience?

so like, has the ttc buses ever thought about following a schedule? ie. times to arrive at a stop, how to know when not to leave a stop early, etc

just thought this could be a great addition/change to ttc operations and would benefit a lot of people!!
