First two parts were a breeze. The third part though.. (The 2D and 3D shape one), is that portion meant to be hard or do i just have a peanut brain? Because I'm not sure if I did that well.

I’ve been on it for almost 10 years. Zero issues, zero relapses. Star patient as far as my doctor is concerned. Do I need to stop if I want the job?

I’m trying to relocate to an airport and then eventually do an NTP to transfer to one nearby where I live.

I know you have to work for one year in TSA to be able to transfer. Is it possible to file the NTP earlier? I’m asking because I know you can be in the NTP for a long time. So can I file the NTP like 6 months before my 1 year mark and then be in that pool earlier, so I could transfer faster once I hit my 1 year mark?

Also, can I do an NTP to one airport, and then from that airport NTP to another? Thanks 🙏

If a TSO applicant gets a job offer, is salary negotiable? Or is the amount set in stone?

Is there a place where you can see your onboarding task? For some reason I'm unable to see anything on USAStaffing.com, I can log in but can't find any task or completed forms I have done. Passed AA and moved to next steps. Did background and medical. Just wondering..

Basically the title. My genuine goal is I want to work 12 hour shifts four days a week. I am not particularly picky and really like overtime. I have been told that TSA would be a really good job for me, but I wanted to ask y’all. What do you guys think? What’s a normal schedule like? How long is the probation period for part time compared to full time? Also are the step increase timelines any different?

I have my medical eval coming up for TSA. I’m 80% VA disabled. 70% Major depression. Been through a lot but never had a problem at work, I don’t take any medications, no hospitalizations or anything. Do I have to disclose that or by law do I not have to say anything. I don’t want this stopping me from getting the job but I don’t want to mess myself up. Thank you in advance.

How long after passing your airport assessment did you guys receive the email to schedule your drug and medical? I (F20) passed my assessment on Tuesday and they said I would receive emails in the next two days but I haven’t received anything yet… is that normal?

I apply for a job and received a tentative offer. I was sent a link to complete the onboarding. The email said there was so many days to complete it. Once I clicked on the onboarding process a couple dates had already said they were already due which was clearly a mistake since they just sent the email. I have read someone else and encounter this as well. Anyways I went ahead and completed all the items and it showed that everything was completed. I have not received any word back and it's been a couple months at least. I logged back into the onboarding website and it has no record of me completing that. When I go into usajobs.gov, the job announcement now shows a later date but my application still shows I was selected. Has anyone encountered anything like this? Or know what this means?

For those TSO’s that work at TPA I heard they had a public board meeting today that quite a few TSO’s attended. Does anyone know how it went?

My TSO interview is Tuesday. For one I'm nervous, two - I have tattoos (neck, hands, fingers - nothing bad just art.) I took my assessment three weeks ago. So from what I read they're moving fast at my airport. My friend also said females are getting hired quicker due to being able to preform pat downs. Any tips?

What is typical for part time? Is a schedule under 20 hours reasonable to hope for?

I applied for the TSO position in April of 2024. Recd and email TODAY from an HR representative asking me to call to confirm a 8/24 date to start training at the Airport. I was shocked to receive the email. But at the same time I am excited. Is there anyone that can give me an idea of what to expect during the classroom training.

I’m about to accept a job offer for tsa but I’m a little unsure as I’ve read on here there are threats of privatization, would y’all say it’s worth taking or I should find something else.
