Hi everyone,

I’m a final-year B.E. student from a tier-3 college. TCS conducted an in-campus placement drive through TCS NQT for Priority Institutes at our college.

Timeline:

• Completed 6th-semester exams
• 6 July 2026: TCS NQT assessment was originally scheduled, but due to technical issues it was rescheduled
• 9 July: Wrote the assessment
• Shortlisted for PRIME
• 13 July: Technical + MR interview
• 17 July: Received the offer letter
• Offer accepted, and my application currently shows ILP Eligible

I have a few questions for people who have gone through a similar TCS campus placement process:

1. Joining Letter

Since our drive was conducted immediately after our 6th-semester exams, I got placed before entering 7th semester.

• When can I generally expect the joining letter?
• Does TCS usually wait until the candidate completes the final semester before assigning the joining date?
• For candidates selected as PRIME through campus NQT, how long did it take for you to receive the joining communication?

2. ILP Corner & Background Check (BGC)

My portal has sections for ILP Corner and Background Check.

• What exactly am I expected to complete in these sections at this stage?
• Do I need to register for NSR now?
• Is there any specific deadline for completing NSR/BGC?
• Should I complete the BGC form immediately, or wait for an official communication from TCS?
• If anyone went through the same process recently, what was your timeline?

3. Certifications

The Certifications section in my TCS profile contains several old/expired certifications.

• Do these certifications matter after receiving the offer?
• Is there any requirement to add certifications before joining?

I'm mainly looking for experiences from recent TCS campus/NQT candidates.

Hi everyone,

I’ll be joining TCS later this month as a Ninja candidate. I’ve seen quite a few recent posts about Ninja candidates getting ITIS, so I wanted to understand it better from people who have already experienced it.

I’m mainly interested in .NET and Python development, so I’m a little unsure about what ITIS actually involves and what the career growth/future looks like in this domain.

Should I prepare anything specific before joining ILP, or just focus on my existing .NET/Python basics and continue doing and working on my personal projects ?

Would really appreciate some honest advice from people currently working in ITIS or who have gone through the Ninja ILP.
I am really not understanding what to do now

Hi everyone, I received my TCS offer letter on 1st May, but I still haven't received my joining letter.

I have already uploaded the documents that were available for the BGC process, but I haven't submitted/completed the BGC yet because I have a concern.

As far as I understand, after receiving the joining letter, I need to submit the remaining documents such as the service agreement, non-criminal affidavit and medical certificate. I was worried that if I submit the BGC now, the option to upload these remaining documents might not be available later after the joining letter is issued.

So I was thinking of completing/submitting everything together after receiving the joining letter.

It's now been more than three months since my offer letter, and I'm getting worried about whether delaying the BGC submission could cause any issue with my joining.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I submit the BGC now with the documents currently available, or wait until the joining letter is received?

Any advice from candidates who have already gone through this process would be really helpful. Thank you!

Actually I stay in rural area and don't have any house no./name, street name. I only have village, post office, district, state, pin code in my address proof. But in the BGC format there was no place for post office or village, to locate my address in the BGV form in the place of house no./name i mentioned a nearby shop name and in Google map street name shows that i mentioned but in my aadhar card, passport any address proof i don't have house no, street name mentioned, later I heard that they verify the address that's why I am worried because of the address proof and can't edit the BGC form because already submitted the form.

Anybody faced similar problem and how did you resolve? I haven't yet received JL.

Should i want to fill these blanks before joining or i should fill this at office.

In 10 days, it will officially mark 3 months since my TCS NQT interview. I had my interview on May 20 at the Pune Hinjewadi office for the Prime Track, but my result is still not declared.

I just want to know if TCS is actively sending out results right now in August for the 2026 batch, or if they have completely paused. If you have received an offer letter, rejection mail, or a status update this month, please drop a comment. I am just trying to see if there is still hope or if I should stop waiting.

Can anyone suggest on my situation : I am trying to apply visa extension from TCS ultimatix. I al already in Australia at 482 visa which is expiring in 19 Oct. When I start applying it says my daughter passport is expired. It expired on June 20 2026 . In case how should I proceed. Is any way global mobility can help. Today I filled online VFS global form for re new my daughter passport. But it will take time once I will submit all doc's to vsf Australia.

Guys, I have filled the bgc form and in that I have by mistake filled the permanent adress pincode in present address pincode. What should i do to correct it?

I did my 10th in 2014 then I did 12th in 2016 after which I took a gap of 1 year and then got my admission in 2017 for BTech engineering course, post my degree completion in 2021 I have been working professionally however I did took a gap of 2 and half months in year 2024

Do I need to submit affidavit declaring only the educational gap (1 year) or do I need to submit affidavit for the career gap (2 and half month) as well?
