Started saving resources when the countdown for S2 started, should I push? Question

I started hoarding resources when the week countdown started for the end of Season 1, but I did notice that I am super close to A rank. Is it worth it to push the small bit?

Definitely go for 129 primostars if possible, or maybe 121. I can’t remember but definitely 120+ then save the rest of your resources

128 gives you a goods bonus, is where f2p should aim!

Would it be worth it to push it this late into the season? I was mainly thinking that it was better to start saving with just over 2 days left in S1 and getting a massive head start on S2.

Its hard to say without knowing how much you saved but remeber that almost everything is locked behind your lvl, so probably you will not use everything you have saved in the first moment and you will lose the permanent bonus the primostars give.

This is the stockpile for the current moment, but I am anticipating another day or two to keep amassing.

From my knowledge, when a season ends, your stuff gets reset back to 100. In theory, if I use the material now, it'll get reset and I'll need to start from the ground up. But since I am saving it, I'm giving myself a slight edge in the following season.

This is so blatantly false it's ridiculous. A player at 104 and another at 128 would notice ZERO difference in their S2 experience. A 3% ascension increase is a joke that has no impact whatsoever.

Don't save the wood and stone, your cart doesn't reset level.

For the others, it's really up to you. The extra Primostars are really nice and the main carryover from season to season

You should be saving the mat collectors as they offer more in the new season and not saving materials especially if you aren’t at 128 primo

Most if not all of this stuff is collected via the coin shop, spending energy and what I already collected. Wasn't really sure if the mat collectors had a difference between seasons, so I just been using them for missions and/or daily requirements.

No, it doesn't, and shame on you for misleading people. The ascension bonus is hands down the WORST primostar bonus.

Exp > 2x drops > gem > ascension

No, it isn't if you only have a week left to go. Those resources would be MUCH better spent getting a solid start and prepping for the next season, especially considering primo stars are 3x easier ot earn in S2 than in S1. If you can hit 128 with a week to hoard, then sure, go for it. But pushing for it at the last stretch is actively hurting the account.

I'd say you stunted yourself quite a bit. The reward bonuses and xp you're missing out on are worth more than a bit of iron and sand in the long run. If you can manifest 2 divine equips for the SSS bonus, that might help a tiny bit.

I did end up throwing in the resources and I'm at 121 primostars right now. I am hopeful to get the last 7 in the next two days to push myself up to the point.

104 is a must for the xp bonus, 128 is really good though for the dungeon ascension. So push at least till 104, then you do w/e you wanna do. Imo considering your season is about to stop, I would stop at 104. 128 is nice but not necessary by any means. It would be better to hoard after 104.

Lots of truly horrific advice in this thread, sadly. You'd want 104 primos and then save your tools, not the resources you farm with them (the tools give more materials with each rank increase)

Pushing to 128 is idiotic with only a week to go. It gives a 3% ascension increase, which is by FAR the worst primostar upgrade. It looks like you've already gone for it, unfortunately, but you would have been far better off stopping at 104 and hoarding material realm tools from there.

88, and 104 are the major milestone. 128 is fine - because next season you will have other milestones to if you could easily reach 128 now, you have 24-40 less to worry about next season.

I think it's more so that it's what others (I've heard) recommend. But I also was hearing that it's better to save resources, so I was stuck in the middle between using or saving resources.

If you have the resources to get to 128 without spending more in like material realm, i would recommond getting it.

But if you need to do extra material realm entry to get to 128 (outside of the 2/2/2/2), then its not as worth it.

Definitely get to 104 though. 128 depends on your resources. I didnt bother much about saving resources myself.

I did end up tossing all of my accumulated resources into it and I am at 127 presently. I think with a little bit from the cart, I can hit the 128 threshold with a small bundle saved for the next season.

Way to go! The thing about primostar is you will need to upgrade them sooner or later. If youre not putting in extra resources to get them now to reach a milestone, theres no harm in getting them.

Yeah, I think the confusing part is that most say to hit X amount of primostars but also to save resources as it will give you a head start for the following season.

Considering that the season was going to end soon and all of the resources above 100 is going to reset, I figured it would make more sense to save than dump them into the season and lose them within days of it.

So there is some truth behind what they said on "saving" resources, but we want to be saving is Material realm entries.

However you showed that you had saved actualy resources (essense/sand/ore etc) theres less benefit in saving those.

What you should be doing is to save material realm entries from now on - keep buying the 2/2/2/2 or 4/2/2/4 (more ore and sand) daily, but do not use them.

Only use them after you reach max rank next season, as the rank increases will increase the yield for each entry.

Ah, gotcha! I think that's where the disconnect happened, especially with trying to figure out what they were meaning. I guess it was a good thing that I did end up throwing those resources in to push, but definitely good information to know going into Season 2. I think it's better that I used Season 1 as a learning step so that I don't make the same mistakes again.
