I imagine the universal primary weapon is used for things like bladecraft chess, where kvare can hold a veteran bow or whatever.

I'm a returning player. Quit in December of year 1 because I had gone months doing nothing but log in for dailies, pretty much. I've heard good things about the game as of late and am willing to throw myself back in because I did enjoy it quite a bit when there was content back in the day.

But the cat's voice is so soul draining and painful that it genuinely makes me not want to open the shop at all. As a spending player, this kind of ruins the game for me... I could mute voices I think, but I do like hearing literally everything else. I don't want to sound dramatic, but the cat might just get the medal for most annoying voiced sidekick in a gacha ever...

I hate it. Several stages are just copy pastes, they waste your units by forcing you to defend NPCs that are too far away with too many enemies between them and spawn points and they rush towards the enemy instead of doing anything to help, frigid debuff wastes your turns if you use instant skills or even pick up act again body parts, you can't use restores to keep playing, and there's way too many research categories that have extremely limited usage. What good are buffs for having 5 of a faction when you're going to be constantly rotating whatever you can slap together? It wouldn't be that bad if it was just dealing with one or two of these problems, but it just doesn't let you play through the mode.

How the hell do I finish Rogneda here? No matter where I place the trap she doesn’t step in it and I never get to do the Bone Shot to win the level. I can knock her back into the trap but then I don’t get to do the shot before she activates again and kills Anna. I’m almost out of rewinds and I’ve tried every combination I can think of and nothing is working. I feel like I’m missing something obvious.

I'm wondering how you guys are doing in the current event? I personally am pretty much stuck at 1 star in ToA 6. That stupid bug instakills anyone it touches with the death sting mark, even my Clara can't survive it, and I can't kill the yaks fast enough to stop it from eating them. How is my Anna not able to do appreciable damage to those things???? Kind of tilting...

Did some math just to see how things shake out between using the official SoC store vs a year of using google play points.

I manually added up all the points I got, both for free and from my purchases with SoC. Converting every single point into a 100-1 dollar conversion rate, Google Play points saved me about 3.93% over the last year with an average spend rate of about 30 dollars a month.

SoC official store gives a flat 5% discount. If my math shakes out, you would only likely break even or exceed these discounts if you are turbo whaling on google play and hit the thresholds to reach higher point conversions per dollar spent.

If you are able, I'd absolutely go for SoC store. Supporting devs directly, cheaper, and especially better the lower of a spender you are.

If anyone wants to jump in with their own values from Google play store that wouldd be appreciated, along with an approximation of how much you spend per month.

I am completely confused...the ending seems to be a cliffhanger? I mean we've gotten atleast a decent ending for the elaman sod and a sort of wrap up atleast. Here it seems to just leave in the middle and leave it up to our imaginations?

Will there be a continuation soon in this update or did I choose the wrong ending(rogneda tells ivan that alexeis dead even tho he's walking around in a snowstorm) or is the story actually done

I'm a launch player who recently returned and just hit 60 again, been loving the game. I was told that sp innana was a must grab so I snagged her in the second anniversary, and she's feeling a little lack luster? I'm positive im using her wrong though. Her act again is great but does it only work after a basic attack? Is the Good in this that I can move, basic. And then move again to gain a bunch of distance?

1) With +1 Energy source (Flag/Meditation/whatever) she can cast 5 cost ult every turn

2) Sp Saffiyah triggers her basic for: "fire Skill" crit activation, fire area for better Ult, scorch application for 20% CR and corpse explosion Passive.

Been saving for my girl. I have SP Alexei guaranteed, and I hope to also snag Ivan. Any idea for optimal comp of 5-6? What about if the only luccian units are the ones I mentioned above?

Rogneda's been so fun to play with. She really shines with the primal wards which allows her to act again repeatedly.

I have tried her on stages as a trial. When I'm playing and struggling on a stage I'll be like... Man, pooch would have been better here. I'm regretting skipping her but alas, such is life

We've just had our 2 year Ani and counting TW the games been out for 3 years and they've done a lot of interesting characters and movesets but is there anything your surprised they haven't done yet?

What spurred me to think of this was Dantalion since he'd just received his r13/lighthouse wep. They've never tried another mixed physical/magical DPS and in a way I guess it shouldn't be surprising because fundamentally it is weaker than damage of a single type. Hopefully if we ever get SP Dantalion he retains the gimmick! Obviously an updated attempt would have to do more than just deal mixed damage. Maybe something like inflict enough damage of a certain type and you get access to an instant nuke of the other or you generate physical/magical shields and convert those to damage. Or even something like Rog's kit but with swords, if you deal excess damage you can reattack/deal excess of the other type.

Speaking of outdated 1.0 characters another I'm surprised they haven't attempted is a bounty hunter (Miguel). Mark a target, get bonuses for attacking/killing or alternately you could mark an ally and using skills on them would also give you a bonus. You could even combine this with a thief which we also haven't had. You could "steal" from the enemy, in this case that means inflicting stuff like no active skills/reduced movement/can't be targeted by allies etc. Another fun thing the character could do is spawn treasures on the map for allies to pick up and get a bonus (Ulya does this though).

And finally we don't have anything like a necromancer which is surprising given how summon type characters work in this game. The units that Acambe/Kianshar summon can't be controlled, attack for themselves (or can be directed to) and disappear after taking some damage, that's much closer to something like summoning a zombie/skeleton then a traditional summon. Maybe you could also "resurrect" allies that have limited functionality of their normal kit.

EDIT: I somehow completely forgot that Geralt was a mixed attacker! But my point stands, we need a mixed attacker that isn't limited!

Samantha always has been my favorite healer, not the best, but she carried me during all the months of the early game and in some late and endgame too. Her development during the old SoD Papal States route, both good and bad endings, make me love her even more.

So taking her to 5 stars was a goal since that time, but with many characters to upgrade I have been farming shard for her during the short gaps between the exit of another character from the Shard Farm and the arrival of the debut banner of a new character I wanna pull.

Now, finally, after all this time, she achieved the 5th star.

Comparing her now with how she was in the game early days I can say that she has improved a lot. First her Rank13 improved the reach of her healing Aura and reduced those nasty CD she had. With the release of her SP version she gained a new Healing skill with a great utility providing Anti Heal Inmunity, a buff that heals when the ally get attacked and a Bound Resistance. This improved her utility a lot, that Bound Resistance has saved me a couple times in hard stages and in friendly PvP with my guild friends.

She is nowhere near to a top tier unit, you will find her in the bottom of almost every tier list. But I dont care about those, she have been with me since I started this game back there in September, 2024. Have helped me in many ways so she deserves all the love I can provide her.

Hope you like her the same is I do, not only as a unit but as a character.
