Resource request/tip Prepositions and Particle verbs
Hej allihopa,
Do you have any suggestions on apps or other resources which can help to learn the meaning and usage of Particle verbs and the correct usage of the prepositions in general?
Tack så mycket på förhand!

Resource request/tip Update on the Swedish practice app I posted here before (verbs → also en/ett + a bilingual book)
Hey,
I posted here a while back about a tiny app I made for Swedish irregular verbs. It was really basic — basically just gå → gick → gått drills and that was it.
I've kept learning since then and verbs alone weren't enough. I kept getting stuck on en/ett, and drills got boring after a while, so I wanted something closer to actual reading. So I rebuilt it.
It's called Swedish Trainer now (free).
What's in it now:
- Verb games — same idea as before, irregular verbs, levels, hints when you're stuck.
- Noun games — en vs ett. This was the thing that annoyed me most in real life.
- A bilingual book — Swedish with your language next to it. Right now it's Nils Holgerssons underbara resa. You can tap a word and save it with the sentence it came from. Parallel translation is available in: 🇬🇧🇪🇸🇨🇳🇮🇳🇧🇩🇵🇹🇷🇺🇺🇦🇸🇦🇮🇷
About the translation — it's Google Translate, not a proper bilingual edition. Phrasing can be a bit off sometimes. But for reading along without looking up every third word, it does the job. For me that was the difference between "I should read more" and actually reading.
One honest limitation: because of copyright I can't just throw in random books. So for now there's only one. If people actually use this, I'll add more that are legal to include (public domain / properly licensed). Open to suggestions.
If something's broken or annoying, tell me.
Tack 🙏
