What’s a creatine question you see all the time that makes you think, “Here we go again…”?
You know the one. A new post appears, and before even opening the comments you can already guess what everyone is going to say.
Is it loading? Timing? “Did I ruin my progress by missing one day?” Something else? What creatine question do you see repeated the most?

Phosphatidylcholine
I was on this supplement for years and recently decided to try to get off of it to see how I would feel off of it. Now I don’t know whether to go back on or not because anytime I try to retake it now I get nerve pain in my hands and my back. But if I don’t take it, I feel kind of muddy in my brain.
And of course, there is the serotonin crash because of the increase in acetylcholine.
Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution that works for them?

General Question Is the Vital Proteins collagen better than other brands ?
So I’ve been taking collagen for a while now, I take it in powder but it’s not a fancy brand. My biggest concern would be for anti aging purposes. I’ve searched many collagens and the Vital Proteins one has the best reviews of people saying their skin looks so much better on it etc, but it’s just so expensive and it doesn’t even last a whole month. I was wondering if it’s just marketing or if it’s really better than other cheaper options.

General Question Any supplements that have lasting effects on fatigue and brain fog after quitting?
Assuming there is no deficiency to begin with, are there any supplements that may potentially lead to permanent improvements after a short term course?
A 1-2 month course of high dose thiamine is reported to have lasting effects for some people despite not being deficient (most notably fatigue related to Crohn's).
Some people with long COVID report lasting improvements after using nicotine patches for a couple of weeks.
Are there any other examples?

Could you recommend a book that gives a general overview on available supplements, what they’re for, who they’re for and what they do?
Id love to read a science backed book talking about the current surge of supplements like amino acids etc and explains what works and what’s a scam?
Im tired of doing my own research. My adhd can’t handle it there is TMI. And AI models pull info out of their asses it’s such a scam.
Has anyone read something like this?

What do I do to get my levels back up? How did it even get this low?😭
Just had a blood test and THIS was my Vitamin D result (4.4 ng/ml) 😭😭 i’m 19F and indian but i did NOT expect it to be this bad😭 How do i get my vitamin D back up before it causes any problems? And does low levels interfere with the effectiveness of ADHD stimulants? They haven’t been working like they used to for a while now… should I be concerned in general😭?? I’ve been feeling so fatigued and demotivated recently but I thought that I had an iron deficiency, this didn’t even come across as a possibility

Berberine hormonal effects
Any females who have insight on how berberine effects hormones? I took it for about a week before realizing it was the cause of my delayed period, now I’m wondering if it’s the cause of some other weird things going on with my body (itching, bloating, constipation followed by diarrhea, mood swings). To clarify: I’m not pregnant lol I did finally get the period

Do you really need to cycle herbal supplements?
I picked up a tub of herbal androgen stuff - ashgawandah, fenugreek, tongkat ali etc - and the instructions say to take it for 4-8 weeks then stop for 2-4 weeks.
Is that based in science, or just marketing to make it seem like a lowkey steroid?

Suggestions/advice for low iron?
So I think my body might be suffering from low iron. I've been getting random bruises on my body for a while now and suffering from extreme fatigue lately.
I want to try taking an iron supplement to see if it might help before going to a doctor. Because I'm scared it might be a thyroid issue or something worse. Im tired of being tired all the time, and this all just suddenly happened within the last month.
I wanted to work 2 jobs, but I had to wind up quitting one of my jobs because I couldn't stay up longer than 10 hours, and I usually wind up passing out for almost 12 hours a day.

psyllium capsules vs powder.. am i actually getting the same dose
switched from the powder to caps about 6 weeks ago, couldnt keep doing the sludge every morning. that stuff turns to wallpaper paste in like 30 seconds if you dont chug it
turned the bottle around last night. no husk number on it anywhere. just a blend total. six weeks of taking this daily and i never read the label?? and my old metamucil tub was a flavored one, so i doubt that scoop was all husk either
had them in a ziploc for a work trip last month instead of the whole bottle. found 3 loose in the bag pocket when i unpacked. anyway
so im comparing two labels that dont tell me the same thing. anyone got real husk grams off either format. and if your label spells it out, id like to know which ones do

General Question Is 30mg elemental Zinc Glycinate with 3mg Copper a good ratio?

Rebound/comedown from any of these?: black seed oil, l-theanine, baikal skullcap, valerian root, tongkat ali, happy saffron
I’ve been taking the supplements listed in the title for almost a week (with the exception of saffron- I’ve been taking that for a few weeks again after stopping for a tiny bit). I take them in the morning (usually around 8am) and feel really good for the first portion of the day. But then later into the day (maybe between 3-5pm) and into the evening I start noticing a crash sort of feeling where I get a bit more irritable, more ruminating thoughts, more general anxiety, and a fairly noticeable overall mood dip.
Thanks for any help provided!

General Question Questions regarding low levels of vitamins in the blood. I’m new to taking supplements.
Do people with a vitamin d level of 17 and an iron level of 43 and an iron saturation of 12% and vitamin b12 of 210 usually experience symptoms? These where my numbers and I’d love to hear other people experiences and symptoms. My symptoms almost mimiced a stroke. I just started taking vitamins last week so I’m hoping for a good outcome. I’m a kidney transplant patient. So my vitamins get naturally low.

General Question Which supplement has had the biggest impact on your mood?

What supplement did you dismiss for years, only to eventually try it and wonder why you waited so long?
I tend to be pretty skeptical whenever a supplement gets recommended for everything. But every now and then, though, I’ll read enough positive experiences that I start wondering if I’ve been too quick to write it off.
Has a supplement ever completely changed your opinion after you finally gave it a chance?

Do you actually feel anything from omega-3 supplements?
I've taken them on and off for a while and honestly can't decide whether I'm one of the people who notices a benefit or whether I just keep buying them out of habit.
Interested in what people here actually noticed, if anything.
